Hotel 99 Square - Best Hotel, Banquet and Restaurant in Khanna — Hotel in Punjab

I stayed at Hotel 99 square for two nights during my visit to Khanna, a city in Punjab known for its grain market and historical monuments. The hotel is located on the main road, near the civil courts and opposite the Dusshera ground. It is easily accessible by public transport and has ample parking space in the basement.

The hotel offers comfortable and spacious rooms with modern amenities such as AC, Wi-Fi, mini fridge, tea/coffee maker, LCD TV,etc. The bed linen and bath fittings are branded and clean. The hotel also has a restaurant, a coffee shop, a business centre, a conference room, and a banquet hall. The staff is courteous and helpful.

The hotel is a good base to explore the attractions of Khanna, such as the Gurudwara Manji Sahib, the Khanna Fort, the Khanna Clock Tower, and the Khanna War Memorial. The hotel is also close to some shopping malls and eateries.

Recently visited Khanna, Punjab for some official work and stayed in the 99 Square Hotel. Khanna is one of those small business towns that string the Delhi-Amritsar GT Road and is now farther away from the passerbys' eyes as the long-pending flyovers are being completed by the new government. It is a one floor hotel in an arcade which is located on the GT Road (on the right side in your way to Ludhiana), just beside a prominent local restaurant. The rooms must be new as they are very neat and clean. Wi-fi is available. The corridor lighting is a bit sleazy. My hosts booked the hotel but when I checked its website, it is one of the few which showed actual furnishing. We hosted our sons birthday at 99 square. The owner and the manager are very cunning and oversmart. They charged us 5% fos paying using credit card. Also they charged us for paying via google pay. Who charges for paying via google pay. They wanted all the money in cash to avoid paying taxes. They did not provide bill with GST number. Owner bahut hi badtameez aur rude hai khana bakwas. They told us we will get a complimentary room for the function but we did not get that. Also we selected non veg food for the function.
