Extremely Disappointing & Untrustworthy Experience!

We booked Garden Court Hotel in Hoshiarpur after seeing the glowing reviews and pictures online, but the actual experience was nowhere close. The facilities shown were misleading, especially the gym, which turned out to be a private gym, not for guests. Then why advertise it with pictures under hotel amenities? Totally deceptive!

What really crossed the line was how my belongings were handled. I accidentally left my yoga mat bag inside the wardrobe behind the blanket. When I called, I was told the room was allotted to another guest and they’d check after they leave. That’s nonsense. Any decent hotel cleans the room thoroughly between guests, so either they’re lying or careless, or worse, they just don’t want to return it.

Also, during our stay, we had kept our own coffee, milk powder, and ketchup pouches on the table, nothing from the hotel. When we returned, they were gone. Housekeeping clearly took them, yet they conveniently “didn’t see” a whole bag in the wardrobe? Sounds shady to me.

We booked the hotel for my Brother-in-law's wedding to accomodate our guests for 2 days. The Hotel is situated on Chandigarh Road right on the highway and is easy to find. The owner Mr Kultar is extremely attentive and polite and takes a personal interest in the daily running of the property. Both the managers were on top of the things and with so many people staying we hardly had any glitch. All our requests were taken care of.
