Hotel Presidency — Hotel in Punjab

Nearly paying 3 grands for one night here is what we got ||No kettle |Torn sofas and chairs|No heating in the room |Unclean towels and bed sheets |No complimentary water bottles |Jammed up water taps |Shady crowd in the hall way |Noisy people||If you are planning on coming with your family, please DON'T. |I felt extremely unsafe with the type of people i saw in the hotel.|At about 7 in the morning, there were a bunch of men who were standing right outside our door with cups of tea in their hand, chatting away to glory, as if the fricking hotel was their house. ||It was such a disappointment to stay in this god forsaken place for one night. We got our room changed but it still was not worth paying 3k for a night. It was a room not worth more than 1500|We were so appalled by the hotel and it's staff that we did not even order drinking water from them. Don't be fooled by the pictures on the internet, the hotel does not look like that anymore. It is neither maintained...

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. From electrics next to bathroom sink with open wiring, the fridge in the room had bottles of soda with rust on them, the fridge had rust inside as well outside, to the thick layer of dust on the TV wires at its back where USB plugs were situated, to door security broken, to the stinking unclean rooms...we tried several, to a room without windows, to the credit card terminal not working but we got blamed as they insisted our credit on the card had been declined...we found out later their terminal wasn't working and had not been working for a few days...THE WORST PLACE WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CONDEMNED AND CLOSED DOWN. I wrote to the current Tourist Minister of Panjab about the place, but of course thus far received...

Rooms are Good according to the city. But I found most of the rooms have not been opened for a long time because of less customers. Also the staff is good and cooperative. The dates are a bit higher because Hushiarpur is not very costly. I would also like to point out that room booking is also the bookings are also available on Internet. I also noticed that regular cleaning of the passage and the rooms is done by the staff. I think I am happy with the service they provide and it is a good hotel to stay in the city.
