As I remember, the person carrying our heavy bags was an old person. We thought someone else would come to lend him a hand along with us. When we saw no one coming, we took all the bags ourselves from the first to the sixth floor. And that is what is there in your CCTV footage.

We reached late the previous night, which you very well knew, and hence got up late in the morning. We called as soon as we could, at 10.29 a.m as per you, for our complimentary breakfast. You denied us our breakfast saying we were late by a minute. A single lone minute. We understand, punctuality.

Yes, you agreed to provide us our breakfast, but after a very appalling conversation. When we tried to clear that out, after coming down to the reception, you came at us with threats. The old man, who must be the owner, was not even in the conversation. Boy, did he scream at us. Remember calling us names, in front of the ladies standing besides us? That edges towards an unsafe environment.

We later rushed out of your place within 15 minutes. Even the driver mentioned about your rude behavior to them earlier, denying them water at night and refusing to show the directions.

We do not care how satisfied the rest of the guests must have been. But the way you treated us was scary and intimidating. Maybe that morning started really badly for you, but again we do not care.

Please understand the meaning of hospitality. If you can not, again we do not care. You can write explaining that we were to be blamed, but I can find a few other lucky ones like us in your google reviews.

This review is to help others chose a safe place in Chandigarh, and not spend a morning on their trip fighting with such lovely people like yourselves. People, you can afford to lose such a beautiful morning.

And regarding considering you or anyone as our slaves, as you mentioned, that is extremely illegal and not for people like us.

Old: The hotel is in a remote village. Around 10 kms from Chandigarh. Please check google maps. The owner is a goon. He threatened and screamt at us like a mad man. Please think twice before planning your stay there.

You have to stay there as per their convenience, not yours. They will come at you once you ask them to do something they feel even a little uncomfortable like lifting your bags to the 6th floor (since they have no lift), or serving you a meal even a minute late, or helping with the directions, or providing water to your drivers. We faced an issue with every single of these things. And then they bid us adieu, by screaming at us and threatening vehemently.

We have raised the concern with MMT who are looking into the issue. Hopefully no one else will feel threatened and unsafe in an unknown city, in a place they wish to stay for a...

UNSAFE FOR WOMEN! ROWDY OWNER & STAFF!

Well, to begin with, this was the last stop of our 10 day trip starting from Delhi, to Himachal and back! However, this was the only stay where we felt humiliated, attacked and unsafe! It all began in the night from our check-in. At first, the receptionist was very rude, and didn't even provide help with carrying our luggage upstairs [we were provided rooms on the 5th floor and they had no Lift as well]. The rooms were clean, but the AC was not working, and their windows are sealed shut, asking help for which they turned the AC on, only to let us know that they stop the ACs at 5:00 AM!

We had reached the place around 12:00 at night following a 400KM drive. So, we had told them at night that we would be waking up late at would only take breakfast [which was included in our package] at the last slot [they provide breakfast till 10:30].

This was where our woes started the following morning. All 7 of us woke up a bit late, and called the reception around 10:20 for breakfast [they accept breakfast orders till 10:30 as per their policy]. About 10 minutes later, they called and said that we are late and they wont provide us the free breakfast, even though we called and informed them beforehand, and it was also included in our package.

On trying to clarify, they started arguing, and they eventually escalated it quickly! All 7 of us were called down to the reception, where there were a few of them, all shouting and trying to heckle us! We had 2 females as well with us, and they started speaking in a threatening tone towards them! This made the women in our group feel very uncomfortable, worried and afraid. The worst of them was their owner, who was aged [i guess late 50s], but had absolutely no mannerism and was bad-mouthed and ill-worded!

We decided to end it all and leave at once, and we did it by 11:00. Thankfully we had two rented vehicles on standby and were able to leave quickly as we had all our bags packed. The property is well built, but the people who own and manage it are rowdy, aggressive, and absolutely UNSAFE FOR WOMEN! I would suggest not to go here, if you have females in your group, especially because the location is remote too, way out of Chandigarh!

Response: i know the owner or manager whoever responded is twisting facts. I really don't care, as their culture-less owner doesn't have any manner to talk to customers. You were not our elders, you were our service providers. And its your "old" owner who was abusive. Educate him. On the b'day thing, we did not even cut cake. Pros: 1. Neat n clean room Has car parking space of upto 10/12 cars No disturbance of any kind Receptionist provided Heater on request Hotel staff are well behaved and polite 6. Suitable for family stay. Cons: 1. WiFi at 2nd floor has a speed which works at less than 2G speed, will also connect n disconnect 40 to 50 times in ONE minute. No lift in hotel henc not suitable for senior citizens) thr are no rooms in ground floor) The mountain nearby is useless, in reality, construction work is going on hence the pics posted by the hotel or previous travellers are history. The road till the hotel street is severely damaged so senior citizens even on a comfy car like innova or safari or xuv 700 will feel uncomfortable as the road is such. The streets are also a bit narrow to reach the hotel. We stayed for 4 days n 3 nights but the room was not cleaned even once during our stay. No hot water in restroom at night (We stayed here in Jan 2nd week n it's freezing cold).

Food is available here but we didn't try, suitable for bachelors n family if on a sightseeing trip, but if u ll also work in laptop then make sure u have enough mobile data with 4G speed. Pay a little more n stay inside the city if u are for sightseeing n with family as the hotel is good but a bit far from...
