Dear Mr. Amarnath,
I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the unpleasant experience I faced during my recent 3-night stay at Ramada Encore. While the first two days were satisfactory, the last night turned out to be extremely distressing for me and my family.
On the final evening, a large group of around 15 individuals gathered in the room adjacent to ours. They were drinking heavily, smoking inside the room and corridors, and creating a loud and highly disturbing environment. The entire floor was filled with the smell of smoke, making it extremely uncomfortable and unsafe — especially as I was traveling with family members including my father (senior citizen) and my 3 year old daughter .
Despite informing the front office and requesting immediate intervention, the management could not convince the group to stop. When the situation became unbearable, I had to personally request the staff to change my rooms. Initially, they were only willing to shift one of the two rooms, and it was only after repeated and strong requests that they finally agreed to move both of my rooms late at night.
This entire experience was highly inconvenient, unprofessional, and completely contrary to the standards expected from a reputed brand like Ramada.
What further added to my disappointment was that when I requested your contact details to escalate the matter, the front desk staff refused to share your number or email address. This lack of transparency and accountability reflects poorly on the property’s guest-handling standards.
As a paying guest, I firmly believe it was the hotel’s responsibility to ensure a safe, peaceful, and smoke-free environment for all — particularly for families and senior citizens. Guests indulging in such disruptive and unsafe activities should have been relocated, not the families who were following the rules.
I sincerely hope you will take this matter seriously and initiate strict corrective measures so that no future guest has to experience such an unpleasant situation. I also expect a formal acknowledgment of this email and an assurance that appropriate action...

We checked in late, dropped our bags, and went out again. At check-in, we noticed some issues with the AC and were told it would be fixed as we come back. At our return, they had simply changed the AC to “air-only mode”—completely disabling its cooling function—and left the temperature set to 19°C, making the room uncomfortably cold and humid instead of resolving the issue properly.
When I requested a room change, the front desk initially claimed the hotel was fully booked. But once I pointed out the AC issue and the air-only setting, they suddenly found another room and moved us from Room 2009 to 2004. That shift in response made it clear they weren’t being upfront.
We had breakfast and dinner included in our booking. While dinner wasn’t refused, they didn’t offer a buffet because they only open buffet when they have more than 20 guests. Instead, we were served a small, limited à la carte menu—just one option for a starter, one dessert, and very few mains. All this while still claiming the hotel was fully booked. It simply doesn’t match up to 4-star expectations and feels like a budget hotel experience.
I’m here for two more nights and already regret booking this place. I wouldn’t be surprised if I just get a copy-paste “we regret the inconvenience” message after I check out.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel. Poor service, dishonesty, and substandard facilities will leave...
