As travelers from South Africa exploring India, we’ve had the pleasure of staying at multiple hotels across various cities, particularly within this hotel chain. However, none have come close to the exceptional experience we had at The Regent Hotel Chandigarh!
From the moment we arrived, exhausted from our travels, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism that instantly made us feel at home. The staff here go above and beyond, ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for. It’s difficult to single out just one individual because every team member we encountered was simply outstanding – attentive, friendly, and always eager to assist. However, a special mention goes to Anjali ,Sahail and Rajendar, who were absolutely wonderful, ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their kindness and dedication truly made a lasting impression on us.
The breakfast was an absolute highlight! A delightful spread of fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared dishes that catered to every palate. After long days of travel, having such a lavish and delicious breakfast was the perfect way to start our mornings. The quality, variety, and attention to detail were second to none!
The service, food, and overall experience at The Regent Hotel Chandigarh have truly set a new benchmark for hospitality. Despite staying at several hotels within this group, this property has stood out as the BEST, making our journey through India even more memorable.

Read moreI recently booked a stay here for a day-use room. Having read all the great reviews on every platform, I had high hopes for a comfortable stay but was greatly disappointed instead.
This stay was a stopover to get some sleep and recharge before my next early morning long flight. However, it was impossible to get any sleep because of the frequent power cuts occurring. I understand that power issues can happen, but the reason why it was so frustrating was that every time the power went off (which was a total of 6 times while I was there), the AC thermostat would power off as well. So, every time that happened, I had to physically get up and turn it on again and adjust all the settings to the right temperature, as it was quite hot that day. I gave up on sleep after that.
Additionally, I was surprised to find that there was no shower gel provided in the bathroom. I had to take a bath with my face wash, which was quite unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Lastly, the Wi-Fi connectivity was another issue. I was unable to log on with the ID and password provided, so they had to send an associate from the IT department to fix it whenever I wanted to log on to a different device, which was just a hassle. And then we checked out at 9:30am in the morning on 16 march ,25 Unfortunately, I left my sumsung earbuds at the table . I checked my bags and my car many times . I called them at their reception number , but they didn’t reverted me back , which is again a worst behaviour to start with . And then I drove back from ambala and visited the hotel to check if they found my earphones. And what to say , the staff was soo irrelevant ,the manager said they they don’t have my belongings with them . Did the earphones just flew away in the air . ? 1.They didn’t investigated their staff . 2.They didn’t look out for my earbuds which I am fully sure some of the staff took while checking the rooms .
