The property is well connected from Delhi and is a pleasant 6 hours drive. Some stretches were under renovation at the time we traveled.

The property is grand and imposing and has a wonderful heritage feel about it. Very well maintained as well.

The rooms are gigantic with huge washrooms and a sitting area just outside. It was really cold when we visited and the two heaters in the room were life saving. Being on the top our room had adequate sunlight as well.

The evening we arrived, we booked a sundowner. This was essentially open gypsies modified for safari which took us over sand dunes and into the desert to a vantage point to view the sunset. This was a nice experience especially for my 12 year old son. We did get to see some deer, neel guy, different birds etc. Hot tea and fresh biscuits were served sitting in comfy camp chairs (some hot pakoras would have been nice!).

The breakfast and food in general was good (they charge for cappuccino during the inclusive breakfast - definitely not done!). The staff is friendly and helpful. They can be more professional.

The property has taken great care to create and maintain some amazing spaces within the hotel like a hawa mahal on the terrace with coloured glass, a WW II lounge, dungeons which double up as a conference or party area, weapons lounge (which has a pool table - needs replacement / repair).

The New Year evening was well organised with live DJ music in the dungeon, an open area at the rear which served up fresh pizzas from the clay oven, kababs from the barbeque and live pasta counter - all very nicely done.

The area around the Mahal is full of old havelis, most in disrepair or abandoned, but they add an amazing feel to the area.

One of the highlights of our visit was a drive onto roads into the wilderness where we chanced upon a small dhaba which served us a fresh and delicious home cooked...

We had a three-night stay at the hotel. It is a beautiful mahal in a small village and a perfect weekend getaway from Delhi-NCR. It was a 6 hour drive to the hotel from our home. Roads are in good condition but small patches of potholes do exist.||The mahal is very well maintained, and even the regular rooms have enough space for 3. The badal mahal and the main restaurant are a delight to the eye. The chef went to great lengths to cook different local dishes for us every night. For non-vegetarians, make sure to try 'Lal Maas' and 'Lehsuni Murg' for dinner.||The hotel staff organised an hour long heritage walk to other haveli's in the same village. While not every haveli was well kept, the guide did a good job detailing the history and architecture of each haveli.||For adventure seeking people, the hotel also organises evening safari to nearby dessert area. We spotted multiple species of deers, and grey francolin (तीतर). Finally, we ended the evening with tea/coffee and some cookies from the hotel's own bakery.||For those who want to explore more history and architecture, do visit the Dr. Ramnath Podar Haveli in Nawalgarh. It is an hour long drive from the hotel, and is one of the prettiest haveli...

Alsisar Mahal was a beautiful experience. We stayed two nights in the super luxury room that was enormous. They had taken care to ensure that there was adequate heating as it was bitterly cold. |The room is divided into three sections and is really comfortable with adequate seating to entertain. |The bathroom is also huge and well spaced. |The decor is charming. It’s a great balance between being ethnic and not being an overkill. A window looks out into a delightful neem tree and the world within that. |There are several interesting spaces within the property to keep you busy- a vintage jeep collection, a dungeon bar , a lovely pool, a temple, a sunset safari and so on. |The dining room is large and can seat a vast number of people. This is the only part that made it look like a commercial property. |The staff are really warm, hospitable and helpful. The food too is quite good with both buffet and a la carte options. |The town itself is charming and has quite a few sights. It’s central and several other places of interest are within close driving distance. |It was a great start...

My stay at Alsisar Mahal was nothing short of enchanting. From the moment I stepped into the majestic 17th-century palace, I was transported back in time. The intricate details of the architecture, adorned with mesmerizing frescoes, left me in awe. Wandering through the well-manicured gardens and courtyards, I felt like a guest in a royal oasis. The rooms, richly decorated with a touch of Rajasthani opulence, provided a luxurious retreat. The staff's attentiveness added a personal touch, making me feel truly pampered. Dining at Alsisar Mahal was a culinary journey through the flavors of Rajasthan. The diverse menu offered a delightful mix of local dishes, creating a feast for the senses. The cultural performances held within the palace walls added a layer of authenticity, giving me a deeper appreciation for the region's heritage. While modern amenities were readily available, it was the timeless charm of the palace that made the experience unforgettable. Alsisar Mahal is more than a hotel; it's a captivating voyage into regality, leaving me with cherished memories of a truly royal retreat.

We booked Alsisar Mahal for our first anniversary. I must say this property is one of the most gorgeous properties I have been to in Rajasthan. We booked a super deluxe room and the room was exceptional. Such beautifully built rooms with huge spacious washrooms. Every part of the property was beautiful. This property gives you palace feels, an old Rajasthani mahal feels with some royalty and comfort. They took us for a safari that costs around 650rs + Taxes per person. It is totally worth it! Highly recommend it! The timings are 5:30pm to 7pm. Their food is delicious. We ordered butter chicken curry (Rajasthani style) and it was damn good. Also saw a puppet show in the Alsari mahal. This property has a Badal Mahal and it is beautifully built. Il give a 10/10 on hospitality. Their service is damn good. And their swimming pool looks amazing at night. Super nice property. Highly recommend it.
