Bella Bassera was a complete suprise. The hills of Kumbhalgarh were once quiet and serene. Now it looks like a concrete jungle. Fortunately Bella Basera turned out to be perfect. Away from the madness atop a nice hill with beautiful views. As you enter you can tell that this was not any little hotel. It had to be someone that had some understanding of the natural world. This is not a landscaped garden but a re-wilded area with local forest trees and grasses. It takes you back in time to imagine what these beautiful hills must have looked like during the Rana Kumbha’s times. The rooms are well placed with stunning views. The staff are very good and take care of all your needs. The Banyan near the restaurant offers a beautiful vantage point to sit in the evening to get a view of Kumbhalgarh in the distance. If your reason is to visit this historic sight with so many stories of unparalled valour but to not witness the madness of the concrete jungle then look no further. You can visit the historic sights and escape to Bella Bassera when you want. The high light is the little spots they have identified where they organise small high tea gatherings (at a small cost) offering beautiful sunsets and stunning views of the Aravali Ranges. This is also the perfect spot to embark and return to after a safari in the Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary soon to become a National Park. If Kumbhalgarh is on your to do list then this small little...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bella Basera Resort in Kumbhalgarh, Rajasthan, and it was an absolute delight. The remote location added to the charm, providing a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere throughout my stay.

My room was incredibly spacious and the stone walls added a touch of coolness and serenity. One of my favorite spots was the veranda swing, which offered a breathtaking view of the pond. It was the perfect place to unwind and soak in the beauty of nature.

The duck pond was a major highlight for me. I found myself drawn to its peaceful ambiance and spent hours sitting by its side, from dawn till sunrise. The soothing sound of the fountain and the surrounding natural beauty created a truly serene experience.

I must mention the food, which was simply amazing. The resort's culinary offerings exceeded my expectations, and each meal was a delightful gastronomic journey.

The resort itself was impeccably built, showcasing contemporary architecture that seamlessly blended with the natural surroundings. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the resort and appreciating its well-designed spaces.

Overall, my vacation at Bella Basera Resort was a memorable experience. The tranquil location, spacious rooms, stunning pond view, delectable food, and impressive architecture all contributed to a truly enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this resort for those seeking a peaceful retreat amidst the beauty of...

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this jungle hotel, and while the room was decent, my overall experience was marred by several issues.

Firstly, the hotel's location deep in the jungle makes it challenging for tourists to find their way there. The management should provide clear directions or arrange for pick-ups to ensure a smooth arrival.

Once I arrived, I was disappointed to find that the room didn't have a TV, which would have been a welcome distraction during downtime.

The food at the hotel was another letdown. The options were limited, and the quality was average at best. I would recommend packing snacks or meals from outside, as this would be a more reliable option.

During my stay, I was surprised to find that the hotel charged extra for a bonfire, even in the midst of winter. This seemed like an unnecessary expense, especially considering the hotel's remote location.

Perhaps the biggest disappointment was the lack of activities or entertainment options. The hotel's surroundings are undoubtedly beautiful, but without any organized excursions or events, the stay felt dull and unengaging.

Overall, while the room was comfortable, the hotel's shortcomings make it difficult for me to recommend it to fellow travelers. With some improvements in guidance, amenities, and activities, this hotel could potentially live up to its full potential. Until then, I would caution others to carefully consider...

Nice boutique resort in the lap of nature! If you want to visit a place away from the hustle bustle of the city then this is the resort to be. All other good resorts in the Kumbhalgarh area are concentrated in 1 place while Bella Basera stands out. They have only 7 rooms on the property which are sparsely distributed throughout the property. We stayed in stone houses which are huge in area with an amazingly bug balcony with a swing. There is a nice outdoor shower as well which is a unique experience. The view from the balcony is really good with birds chirping throughout the day. Food is average at best. The portion sizes are small and Chinese food especially is very oily. Make sure you make it clear to chef to use less oil beforehand. The chef didn't know the difference between Hakka noodles and chowmein also even though both were on their menu. Breakfast was alright. Don't expect too much variety though. There is a small swimming pool near the restaurant with good views. Also there is a small pond near the rooms which has a few ducks. Mr. Kamlesh managed the checkin, checkout and other needs during our stay and did a good job. Overall a nice comfortable stay. Recommended.
