Updated Review After the GM’s Response: I am adding comments, following the response from the GM. Any discerning traveler can easily recognise the tone and arrogance in his reply. Now, addressing his accusations:
Pre-Wedding Shoot Fees: Yes, we opted for a pre-wedding shoot for which we paid a clearly communicated FEE. During discussions about the fee, we were informed about the services included, which Mr. Dilip now claims were "gestures." This suggests that, in his view, allowing us access to the property was a favour. Moreover, in addition to the pre-wedding charges, we were separately billed for the safari. Mr. Dilip refers to this as a "goodwill gesture." However, we were initially quoted a much higher price for the safari. When we highlighted the discrepancy—pointing out we had been quoted a lower price earlier—they admitted to not sharing the updated price list. Eventually, the old rate was honored, which should have been the case from the outset.
For the record, I deliberately did not mention the pre-wedding shoot in my original review because we were satisfied with the services provided. However, it is unacceptable for Mr. Dilip to frame our feedback selectively. The "High Tea by the Rocks," which the property promotes as an inclusion, has also been portrayed as a favor—a wholly inaccurate representation.
Additionally, our photography team was asked to share property shots with the management, which they could use for promotional purposes. This mutual benefit has conveniently been overlooked in his response.
Concerns About Safety: We had females in our group who felt uncomfortable due to the lack of female staff at the property. This was a genuine concern that remains unaddressed.
Hair in the Plate Incident: The dismissive attitude towards this issue is unacceptable. All we requested was a simple replacement, which should have been managed gracefully. Instead, the response—and the GM’s framing of the incident in his reply—has been unnecessarily defensive.
To Summarize: The GM’s accusatory and defensive response exemplifies how little value the management places on guest feedback. A simple, sincere apology would have sufficed and resolved this matter. Unfortunately, the dismissive tone and selective representation of events only highlight the inadequacies in the property’s...
Read moreWe had an absolutely amazing time at this hidden gem! Though the property is tucked away in a remote location, it was easy to reach using maps. Its seclusion made the experience even more special—peaceful, private, and completely self-sufficient.||||Our family of five stayed in two beautifully designed cottages spread around a serene lake. These cottages are accessible via a natural trail, which adds to the charm, though it can be a bit of a walk for older guests. Each cottage was spacious, thoughtfully built with natural materials, and well-equipped with board games and refreshments.||||The private pool was a highlight for us! Even in the heat, the shade from the surrounding trees kept it cool and refreshing. We spent hours just relaxing there. The main pool area is equally stunning—you can witness the sunset on one side and the moonrise on the other. Pure magic! The terrace was our go-to spot after sundown—calm, breezy, and perfect for stargazing.||||We also went canoeing on the lake, which was peaceful and a wonderful way to take in the natural beauty. The property is home to several peacocks, and their calls created an enchanting atmosphere. We were even lucky enough to witness a few of them dance!||||A special shoutout to Sarthak, who took me on a guided morning walk and shared some really interesting insights about the lake and its surroundings. The views from the far side of the lake were simply breathtaking.||||The food and hospitality were top-notch. Nakul and Bhawar ji took incredible care of us throughout our stay. And Chef Kalu Singh truly impressed us with his simple yet delicious meals. The breakfast spread was generous and thoughtfully catered to our dietary preferences.||||All in all, our stay was unforgettable. The property is beautiful, but it’s the warmth and hospitality of the people that made it truly special. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and connect...
