Overall a very good experience I was suggested this place by a Co passenger on train to jodhpur. But when I saw reviews on Google, they were mostly negative. I was very skeptical and then finally googled hotel contact and connected to Mr Rathi who manages hotel. I directly came to point of bad reviews, and he accepted that there were shortcomings and now management has changed. He told that there are some phone signal issues, but connectivity is there. Now Review... Its a majestic desert dune resort like we saw in Baby movie Arabic resort (Akshay KUMAR). Grand entrance, very well designed tent cum rooms... I went for Royale. Classic Furniture, ambient lighting and 3 star facilities. A swimming pool also. They have their own Thar vehicles and Camels. Jeep safari was awesome offered by their specialist. Same was camel safari. Welcome drink, hi tea.. Dinner, breakfast. All served with care and attention. In night there was Kalbeliya dance.. A Rajasthan tradition. Dancer was a professional one having so much follower base on their YouTube. There was a wonderful tree house for those late night chats and morning sunrises. Definitely...
Read morePlace was good. It was isolated from other areas that became cherry on top, it includes acitivities like camel ride, dessert safari and everything inside the resort only. Resort was so big, even the food was good and tasty. Will give 5 star for hospitality. I gave 4 just because at night there was not a single staff in the resort and everybody gone their respective homes. It felt like we were taking care and gaurding their property; not even on the reception, the problem arises when there are kids along and we wanted milk for them and tea while doing camp fire outside our camps but there was no one so it was dissapointing. Otherwise everything was good. Also they organise a dance show (traditional) for visitors and welcome drinks. Even the tents we stayed in were pretty good and clean. Though the extra bed we wanted was torn form a side. But nevertheless our trip was good and...
Read moreStayed 2 nights with family. Cool place well kept and very courteous staff. It's end of season and sparse crowd. Suggest not more than one night stay. Something for the management to look at. Tent lining getting dirty needs a thorough clean up. Probably can provide electric kettle and tea stuff in rooms. Camel ride inside the property is reasonable. Camp can make it more interesting by giving the handler vibrant Rajasthani attire. Tree house is good. For tourists, sun set and rise is must watch. End March weather is not too hot. Swiss tent should be good option and worth the money. Before I forget food is delicious. Overall thumps up for Camp team Near the camp there is a Jeep safari over a medium sized dune...with drivers trying their best to pump in ur adrenalin. Also they...
