In my recent visit, that I took about a couple of days ago, I stayed at this hotel in Mount Abu. Frankly speaking, I think that it was one of the best hotels in a very serene environment, in which I have ever stayed. Anyway, located on the main road a little more than 1.2 kilometer away from Nakki Lake and main market, this stunningly-beautiful looking, private colonial style  sanctuary sits on 2 acres of a lush garden. Easily being considered as one of the best heritage-style, luxury hotels in Abu, it has all the ingredients to “awe-inspire” the guests with its marvelous antiques and decoration.  Spread over 2 acres amidst tranquil surroundings, elegant interiors and beautifully landscaped gardens and waterfalls it creates a soothing and intimate ambiance. Taking elegance to the extreme, this hotel offers plenty of panache with colonial hangover, arranged around the main building with some incredible vegetation and plenty of natural light. This vast property is scattered with pieces from the owners' art collection, including breathtaking Victoria Baggi. Staff is well behaved and service oriented. Rooms are spacious especially the cottages at the back of hotel. If you ignore some of the minor issues, it will give you a satisfaction of money well spent.

I accidentally came across this place and after seeing the reviews wanted to visit it definitely. The place is a complete package in itself, be it the feel, the decor or the ambience. I skipped some places to be there and spend the most of my time there. Though i could not catch hold hold of their garden view room but my room was no less, its balcony was plush seating space with a swing to spend the evening there. Room was spacious and full of amenities. The bar well stocked, the food scrumptious and what to say of the evening arrangement in the garden for dinner with bonfire to keep you warm and katputli dance and traditional rajasthani folk songs to keep you in good spirit. But i am a little dissatisfied with the service. First their restuarant was not taking calls and later when they did their tandoor was not ready and later when the tandoor was also ready then still they took a lot of time to serve us.

Wonderful place for stay at Mount Abu...so well designed and beautiful garden at the entrance with statues...waterfalls ..and varied range of flowers greeting your path... rooms are also very clean with balcony having Swing and wonderful view of the garden... welcome drink served at entrance.... restaurant ambience is mind blowing... with variety of cuisines ..we loved Makke di roti and sarso ka saag..in the Evening they have cultural activities, magic and puppet show, bornfire besides dinner dining..very polite staff ...the most fascinating thing was the owner who is quite old .. popularly known as CHACHA is seen moving around looking after the arrangements and greeting anyone on his way..his humbleness though being an owner was something worth appreciating...Much recommended stay...at Mount Abu

My review will be a long one ... From where do I begin... When we entered the property we were greeted by the 2 darbans who very eager to assist us. The service staff is very humble and happy to serve. They are very prompt in their service . Breakfast is a feast as the Buffet provides you a mouth watering lip Smacking array of dishes. Everyday the buffet is different. You will get atleast 3 variety of fruits, shakker para, gatiya, khaman, idli, puri bhajji, samosa, aloo paratha, butter sandwich, gulab jammun/ jelebi/ immarti, toast, choice of eggs , tea/ coffee/bournvita . We ordered room service for dinner and must say their Desi chicken was finger licking. Each night we ordered different . Their Chinese dishes too didn't disappoint us. The owners Mr. GUJARAL takes person interest in the day to day administration and takes care of the guests expectations. His wife has to be complimented for over seeing the lush green blanket - the lawns n gardens. They have great entertainment like ghazal nite n puppet show for kids in their garden restaurants. Don't miss the beautiful waterfalls in the backdrop which give a picturesque view to the resort . Do click a pick or two. Would like th thank the GM Mr. Chaudhry ( hope the spelling is correct 😉) for making a point to ensure each guest has a pleasant stay. Rooms are clean with housekeeping doing a good job but the cottages bathroom need cleaning and revamping. MY husband and friends had a good time. Going home with some...

I recently stayed at Chacha Inn The Garden Retreat , and it was an unforgettable experience for my family and me. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring our check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, including a crib for our toddler, which made our stay even more comfortable.

One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's excellent dining options. The on-site restaurant offered a diverse menu that catered to both adults and children. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, with a wide variety of fresh fruits, pastries, and hot dishes that kept our kids happy and satisfied each morning. The chefs were accommodating to special dietary needs, ensuring everyone had a delightful dining experience.

The hotel's facilities were perfect for families with children. The outdoor pool was a big hit with our kids, who spent hours splashing around while we relaxed on the sun loungers. Additionally, the hotel's kids' club offered a range of activities that kept our little ones entertained, giving us some much-needed relaxation time.

Overall, our stay at exceeded our Chacha Inn The Garden Retreat expectations. The hotel's family-friendly atmosphere, combined with exceptional service and delicious food, made it a perfect destination for a memorable family vacation. We can't...

The bathroom floor tiles texture are smooth hence it is slippery. We got slipped and tripped while bathing (each one of us experienced slipping) Luckily no one got injured seriously. Mine was room No. 101.

I complained about that, I strongly believed that I am not the first one to complain and may be other guests must be experiencing this, upon which they agreed.

I advised to lay some rubber or plastic bathroom mats (as it it is cheap and long term solution) for the next day of my stay. But they put only two cotton ordinary door mats, which caused further inconvenience and more slippery after getting wet. I again complained but was ignored.

They are just waiting to get someone get seriously injured or die of guest head hit on basing or water tab and have a police case.

I mentioned this while checking out in their feedback form. Generally this kind of feedback finds its way to the trash.

Food was pathetic (every dish) even after they have very good ambience, garden restaurant with entertainment and good restaurant staff. While complaining to the waiters about food quality and taste, they unofficially advised better restaurants outside the hotel in Mount Abu city.

Rooms were OK. Cottage room have good access to garden and siting arrangements.

Will not recommend to stay there due to danger of the...
