I would highly recommend this place to everyone!
Stay: This place is so much worth the money, you can easily spend 2 nights here to enjoy this place without going out.I love the ambiance of this place, it feels like you are living in a luxury fort. The design of this place is commendable, as soon as you get to the door, you get a feeling that you are about to enter a fort and it goes on. The whole place has antique pieces and art wherever you turn your gaze. A little background for each item would make it far more engaging because we were curious about the age, era of all of the items so may be a short description for each item will go a long way. Each floor has a different art as soon as you come out of the lift. Very well designed place. Amazing ambiance!
Room: The room with Balcony was spacious, had everything you would need, water kettle, hair dryer, fresh towels, toiletries and gorgeous view. Water pressure wasn't that great in the washroom. We had a good night's sleep and woke up refreshed to an amazing view. The room, balcony, bathroom feels luxurious. They do provide RO filtered water in room upon request as opposed to plastic water bottles which was a highly commendable green step.
Location: A bit far from station/airport but not a lot. For me it was worth and only a difference of 7km which took just a few minutes extra. It was easier to get to the property than get out because we were trying to book ola/uber cab from here. Problem occurs when you book ola/uber since the cab cannot enter main city because the lanes are too narrow, also the cab/auto do not accept ola/uber prices when you book so you would end up cancelling it. The manager and security guards did help us in getting an auto after checkout which was better than our ola/uber experience in Udaipur so I would suggest you do that beforehand to avoid hassle at last minute after checkout.
Food: They have a terrace restaurant for lunch/dinner and another restaurant near reception for your Buffet breakfast. The prices are high but we found that it is the same with all restaurant that come with a view in Udaipur, and the view from terrace restaurant is Amazing! All surrounded by mountains, you can spot Karni-mata temple, city palace, Bagore ki haveli and Fateh sagar lake easily from the terrace restaurant. The taste ranged from lip smacking good to okay depending on the item. Mutton Biryani, Paneer pizza, crispy corn were very good. Complimentary breakfast was okay, the spread should have been more elaborate that what was there. I did see people ordering dosa, which was not in the spread but the staff did not inform us of any such options nor were we given a menu to select from for complimentary breakfast. The tea was good and quantity was good and it came with cookies which was great! Pancakes were good, came with maple syrup which was also very good.
Hospitality & Staff: Since the checkin time was 1pm and we reached the hotel at 7am, the staff did go out of their way to provide us early checkin by 10am without us even asking and gave us 24hr checkout. I highly appreciate that since we were very tired and sleepless that day, it did help us tremendously. They carried our bags to the room and placed it on table for our convenience, also carried our bags to auto after checkout. The restaurant staff is a bit lacking in hospitality, don't get me wrong, they are good and smiling and resolve our requests, they just need a little bit of training. For eg, they do provide room service but when we asked to send left over food to room, they casually asked us to carry the plate with ourselves to the room and we had to request them to send it to our room. They don't know how to take compliment either, when we told the chef that the biryani was too good, he just nodded. They were all good at heart and polite and humble, they just need slight training and it will be top notch hospitality in restaurant of a top...

The moment we reached our hotel, we were greeted by a warm welcome, smile and a welcome drink. The staff at the hotel from the desk to kitchen, room service and especially Mr Dinesh was very courteous. Had multiple great moments without even asking for it.
The property is quaint but chic property with all the facilities, including swimming pool and spa. Swimming pool at the roof top has a great view of the city.
Day 1 we took the dinner buffet and were served hot food, along with a paneer item especially made for us which was not there on the serving. Dinner is served at the roof top which has great views along with candle night.
Another night we came late to hotel and was looking to eat something and the kitchen was closed by then. Mr Dinesh enabled food for us at late in the night without us insisting for it.
We also took 2 days of taxi from the hotel for a day trip and a city trip. We were offered a very reasonable price for both days. On the last day, since the taxi was getting late for some reason, we were enabled an extended stay for couple of hours.
Mr Dinesh also helped in getting discount on food for meals taken at other restaurants in the city.
The food at the hotel is also very good with a lot of variety in the breakfast.
What more can one ask.
Suggestion - keep a car or taxi at disposal as early or late in the day the uber or auto would not...
