Gangaur Desert Resort by Park Tree — Hotel in Rajasthan

1. This place is not at all suitable for family, Specifically not suitable for married couples. No safety and privacy.
2. Tents where not clean and toilets where pathetic.
3. You are already cheated in the above 2 points. I agree the first point is out of control because we never know what kind of crowd we can expect. But at least basic amenities has to be good.
4. Jeep safari is quiet a scam with Shaitan Singh. He said some Rs.750 or 800 per head for short safari which is some 10km and Rs.1500 per head for long safari which he says 25 to 30km. But what their driver’s actually do is, They start with good ride in the dessert and halt at one place for a long time and ask us to enjoy the view and take pictures. But we didn’t know that was the end if the safari.
5. Don’t try the night safari which can be another scam for which he charged Rs.1750 per family… After the jeep safari we changed our mind and cancelled the night safari. 6)Food is not worst but can be better.

I agree every individual has a different opinion. Most of the good comments for this tents are either from people who came in off season where their was no much people or full of boys crowd with hookah and...

We went to Jaisalmer in December 2022 and stayed in Gangour desert camp. We were hosted by Shaitan Singh who hosted us very well and made us feel comfortable. He gave us a tent in both Sam desert and Khuri desert, so we get to experience both deserts.|Our package included the camel safari, sand dune jeep safari, night safari , camp fire with cultural program, evening snacks, dinner and breakfast. The dinner was excellent.|The hospitality was very good and he made sure we are comfortable at all times. ||We stayed in the swiss tent, the swiss tents were not very clean and not well maintained. We got sold this desert experience and when we got there the boys were rude and they scammed us out of drinks,beware the complimentary drinks are only tea and coffee.We got the chance to sleep in the desert after our camel ride and terrible dancing/wailing act,it was so cold and the covers were so damp they were borderline frozen after our ten minutes of sleep.The food was good though,however we were the only ones there and I really don't think they could be arsed with us.The tents looked ok,albeit dirty.Save your money and go...
