As soon as we arrived at Guldaar Sariska, we were warmly welcomed with refreshing drinks, setting the tone for an incredible experience. A camel cart awaited us, and we were taken on a delightful ride around the property. The cart comfortably accommodated all eight of us, offering us a charming view of the surroundings. Upon returning, we were treated to a lunch prepared with freshly picked vegetables. The flavors were exquisite, and we could instantly tell that everything was made with care and freshness.
The rooms were incredibly spacious, offering ample comfort for all of us. They went above and beyond by not just arranging extra mattresses but full extra beds, ensuring everyone had a restful sleep. The bathrooms were equally impressive, with consistent hot water for a relaxing shower. The attention to detail in these aspects matched the standards of reputed hotels in the hospitality industry, making our stay all the more enjoyable.
In the afternoon, a pottery session was arranged for us. The setup was beautiful—situated outside the main building, it featured a traditional ambiance with lanterns adding to the charm. The potter, who conducted the session, was both skilled and patient, making the experience enjoyable and engaging.
As evening approached, we were treated to a mesmerizing folk performance by Rajasthani singers and dancers around a bonfire. The energy of the music, combined with the warmth of the fire, created a magical atmosphere. The staff thoughtfully served snacks, including a refreshing pineapple mojito and delicious fritters, while we relaxed and soaked in the cultural experience.
Dinner was an absolute highlight. The menu was thoughtfully curated, and each dish was a testament to the care and skill of the kitchen staff. Since it was New Year’s Eve, the team arranged for lantern lighting, guiding and assisting us through the process. It was a heartwarming moment that added to the festive spirit.
The day was made even more special as it happened to be my cousin’s birthday. The staff went out of their way to arrange a cake for us, and we celebrated the occasion in the midst of the serene forest. The entire team joined in the celebration, making it a truly memorable and heartfelt experience.
Over the two days, everything was perfect—from the beautifully planned activities to the exceptional meals. Above all, it was the hospitality of the staff that left the deepest impression on us. Their warmth, attentiveness, and personal touches made us feel incredibly valued.
As a sweet gesture, the staff gifted us a scented candle at checkout, which was a thoughtful way to end our stay.
Thank you, Guldaar Sariska, for an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed every moment and will cherish these...
Read moreVisited Sariska in January '25 and stayed here in the Premium room over the weekend. Everything from start to finish was excellent.
The booking experience was smooth (I booked directly with the hotel) and the pricing was fair. The property itself is somewhat new and secluded, which is perfect if you want to stay away from the noise.
The parking is convenient. The staff are extremely polite and hospitable. The welcome and check-in experience is good, with people waiting for you with welcome drinks.
The rooms are nice and extremely clean. Don't expect luxury, but overall it's pretty well done. Each room seems to come with a patio/balcony that overlooks the garden, with mountains in the background. Amazing view, clean air, great natural light in the room.
The location is great. It's about 10 minutes drive from the safari start point. The approach road is a bit narrow, but my mid-size SUV fit pretty well.
The layout of the property is nice. Large, open courtyards for lounging, and a semi-secluded pool area that's downright decent. Being January, we of course didn't take a dip, but really wished we could.
The food is above excellent. The breakfast buffet has tons of options and fresh juices. The evening tea is also served with refreshments. It doesn't matter whether you do the morning safari or the evening safari (we did both) - you will always be in time for the food. In the evening, there is live entertainment of the traditional variety. Good musicians performing rajasthani folk music. And the dinner spread is to die for. All served with a smile on the face. The chef was even kind enough to prepare laal maas for us, even though it wasn't on the menu.
Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Guldaar. It's a great property for a relaxing weekend, and I would definitely...
