We visite Jalore multiple times before but never stayed for the night. This was the first time. We looked around and the only place we found to be reasonable and good to stay was this hotel.||||Things that I liked:||1. Rooms are good, well furnished with appropriate furniture for room types. They are adequately spaced and have some free space too.||2. Bathrooms were clean, disinfected and everything worked the way it should||3. Ample toiletry, shaving kit, dental kit etc. were provided and were of decent quality||4. While its on the main road, even the rooms facing road are quiet||5. Furniture was apparently older but functional and clean||6. Beds were a bit harder than usual (we are used to urban hotels so this feedback I guess) but sleep quality was nice.||7. TV was appropriately placed right in front of the bed||8. There were amples lights and switches for almost all kinds of ambience (working, watching TV, sitting and talking etc.)||9. Common area was nicely decorated with antiques and other good stuff. Even the stairs were nicely cleaned and decorated.||||Things that I didn't like:||I couldn't help but notice some minor flaws, viz.||1. There was a working table in our room but no plug point near the table. People usually carry a laptop these days and vodafone provides 4G+ network in this area, so its not that this area is not laptop friendly||2. In our room there weren't enough plug points in the age of mobiles and laptops. Ours was a twin room and if two people will stay there should be at least 4 plug points in the room rightly placed but there were 2 or 3 I guess.||3. Bathroom slippers is a good idea in such hotels, but they have kept reusable ones and they didn't seem clean. Soft slippers are better for hotels so you don't worry about who wore them before and why there's so much dirt on them.||4. There was salt and pepper in the room, in case you decide to order for room service but it doesn't have a cap. The holes remain open.||5. There was another table like structure near the television, which is actually a good addon for twin room but there was only one chair and we couldn't even move any of the tables close to bed. I guess all of it was fixed.||||Overall, it was a nice stay as we didn't stay for long so didn't really notice any serious problems. Whatever time we spent, it was quite comforting, relaxing and soothing. If you have some work close to city center in Jalore, look no further, there's no better place than...
Read moreFirst I stated herein 2010.||Therafter was my second time this year.||Checked in at 540am..no one at the reception desk..||Waited for 15 minutes..only to find the guy give me a room which i had not booked and also tried to usher me in another room amidst his sleep...lift was not working and had to trudge all the way to the 3rd floor only to find that i had to wait as he had brought the wrong room key!||Rooms are both great either and no upkeep has been done these years..totally bland.||The fan regulator to control fan speed did not work.. the cable TV had ran out of subscription..as the evening set in all sorts of small and big bugs invaded the room though the windows were closed..at night they literally crawled in the bed..all these with no regret of the fron of office....the breakfast also is not included in the 2200 room rent plus tax...if you are ok with all these you can be brave enough...
Read moreThis can be a terrible experience if you plan to stay in Jalore district. Was here in the town for a meeting and this is the only option that one can have in Jalore. The staff is arrogant. Despite understanding CP and MAPI plan, they charge separately for food. Worst is that they are not ready to listen to your request and behave as if you can't do anything. Attitude is like Aapko Jahan Jana hai Chale Jao. Food is terrible, breakfast has long menu but limited choices of oily and spicy food. Toilet are stainy, there is no hot water. Paint is leaving walls, almost no maintence. From outside and photographs and Tripadvisor, one would assume it to be a good hotel but THIS IS TERRIBLE. AC doesn't work in room no 315, check it before taking. Stay at...
