Hotel Le Grande — Hotel in Rajasthan

Yesterday I visited Le Grande, I saw the reviews and thought this must be a good stay as 4.2 seems fair enough but here I am going to write about what you can’t gauge through ratings. First of all when checking in the staff was rude but being with family you have to let certain things slide, the check in process took us about 25 mins and we had to wait at the reception along with our luggage for that period. Then we were lied to about the driver accommodation, they say they provide driver accommodation but they don’t. When we asked about weather our driver had been provided accommodation we were told he was comfortable, while he had to sleep in the car for the entire night. Then to the breakfast at “NAMAK” the restaurant downstairs, we ordered poha in which we found 3 inches long strand of plastic. Now we have to travel more than 500 kms and our driver is tired, and we didn’t have a proper breakfast. I’d like to mention the owner who’ll most probably reply to this review seems nice and has a good looking building for a hotel but needs to make better hiring decisions.

We’ve spent a few days at this hotel while exploring the nearby sites, like the different markeys at Chomu. Also easy to access Jiapur for the historical sightings.

We were very pleased to find an upscale, modern hotel as a base to explore the rest of this beautifull area.

The rooms are luxurious and up to modern standards. With an active wifi it is easy to keep your friends and family up to date on your adventures around and in Chomu. Hotel Le Grande fits perfectly inside the Indian area with its vegan believes. Although discretely respectfull, you can have your omelet or other specific wishes. The staff is very friendly, open and professional. Can highly recommend this hotel to other guests, especially travellers from Europe.
