❌ "Worst OYO Experience – False promises, dirty rooms, rude staff!"
I booked Hotel O Kanchan Residency, Kota through OYO customer care after confirming everything — room layout, amenities, what’s included in the offer — everything was clearly shown and promised.
But when I checked in:
They gave me a torn, smelly blanket full of hair. It was so bad I couldn't even keep it near my face.
Towel was clean but torn and old, looked like a used cloth.
AC was not cooling properly, even on 16°C. Staff refused to fix it.
Fan blades were full of thick dust, and dirt was falling in the room.
Jab maine staff se bola to unka jawab tha:
“Kam paise ka room liya hai toh service bhi waisi hi milegi.”
What kind of logic is this? I didn’t get the room for free — I booked it through an OYO offer with everything clearly mentioned. Chahe ₹2 mein booking ho ya ₹2000 mein — if OYO promises certain amenities, then they must provide them. You cannot cheat customers with such excuses.
🔇 Room environment was very shady — whole night disturbing sounds and no peace. Definitely not a family-safe hotel.
⭐ Finally: 1.Totally unhygienic, unprofessional, and unsafe 2.OYO is losing its credibility fast. I will never book again. 3.Not recommended for families, solo travelers, or anyone who cares about...

What they advertise and what you actually get are completely different: • Outside the hotel, they mention ₹600 per room, but once you enter, it’s a complete scam – they overcharge and later ask for extra money during checkout. • Rooms are overheated, fan is too slow, and there is no air circulation. • No water heater provided despite asking multiple times. • Mosquitoes everywhere. • No drinking water only empty bottle is available outside • Worst part – the manager and staff have no sense of communication. If you ask a question or raise a concern, they just laugh and ignore you.
This was honestly one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had in India. Highly unprofessional staff and cheating behavior. Do not trust the price board outside – it’s a trap.

Read moreIce and water was coming out of the ac. When I said on the reception for this that when the AC service was done. So the manager told me 6 days ago but the AC was not giving cold air at all. The manager said that the last customer has run the AC at 16 degree temperature, so the AC ice and water is coming out. I said the bed sheet is getting completely wet. But they did not provide another room. After this I cleaned myself by opening the filter of the AC, then I got cold air. after all very ridiculous... experience.. of this hotel i booked suite room not accepted service like... in the evening... i was really irritate. from ac i booked another...hotel room... not prefer to book...
