Hotel Park View — Hotel in Rajasthan

The road in front of this hotel is almost impassable by car due to the road construction. Staff are very friendly though. Lots of reviews say this is a clean hotel. Maybe this is clean by Indian standards but not by my standards. Sheets had all types of stains. Pillows were so disgusting (under the ripped pillow covers) that we didn't use them. Floor had certainly not been mopped properly because my feet got dirty. Bathroom hadn't had a proper cleaning in a while. I'm sure they cleaned it, but definitely not to standards I would consider clean. So the best part was the nice staff, not the room. This is a small town and it might be difficult to find better accomodation. The main attraction in Tonk, Sunehri Kothi, or Golden Mansion, is closed to the public without prior arrangements, something that isn't mentioned on the official Rajasthan tourism website, which promotes it as a sight in Tonk. This hotel is close by the haveli. Had I known the main attraction was closed, I probably would have opted either to skip Tonk altogether or stay in a different...

The rooms were average which is tbh good for a hotel in a bad location but the problem here was the services... We ordered Paneer Butter Masala but they gave us something else which looked like palak panner but it tasted even worse. The hotel is affordable but does not match upto the quality as what price is given...

Also they took my phone and gave 5 star review in everything which is something i disliked

So i definitely would not want to recommend this hotel for you and your family to have a nice stay but plot twist that this is the best hotel in the area so you have to spend a night in...

Stayed here out of necessity rather than choice and it was the worst hotel we have stayed at in 5 months of travelling through Asia. The rooms are dirty and the bathroom and common area smell. The sheets were also stained and had holes in them (and covered in someone else’s hair).
