Kasam Desert Safari Jaisalmer — Hotel in Rajasthan

Don't get fooled by the 5 star ratings and YouTube / Insta promotion. They are all most probably paid promotion. I have been to Jaisalmer before and my experience was amazing, but visiting Kasam Desert safari for my 2nd visit was one of the worst decision I made. We were three families all stayed in the premium tents. Poor tents, not airtight, in December chilled air was coming inside the tentative. There were so many cockroaches and other insects in the bathroom. My kid actually panicked and started crying seeing so many of them. (Picture Attached). Now let's come to food. Buffet dinner and breakfast, No taste at all. Dal Bati churma was so bad that one can use it instead of stones for self defence. Curries had only salt and chilli.

Now let's talk about the entertainment part, the evening cultural program. They were serving Alcohol next to the stage and few guys were completely drunk and taking videos of girls and women in the program. 2 women came for dancing and the dance was as vulgar as it can be. Most probably the camp does invite these cheap type people. Which we were unaware because of most probably paid reviews. Drunk people shouting outside tent horrible.

No locks provided. When you leave your tent for going out anyone can just walk into your tent and steal whatever they want

Also let's talk about the desert safari. Desert safari on camel was included in our package, we arrived well before sunset. But we had to wait wait and wait like forever for camel to arrive and as expected sunset on safari was missed and everyone was disappointed. The manager was extremely rude when we asked him.

One night stay here seemed like we are at the border and...

We made a long awaited trip to Jaisalmer and Sam this December and chose to stay at Kasam Desert Safari. As expected the place is awesome and Kasam Khan & team's hospitality is par excellence.​

We booked the camp for 2nights and had a fun filled packed itinerary. A day prior to our arrival, we received confirmation from owner, and he also shared the location so that we can easily reach the place.

On arrival, we were welcomed by Kasam Khan himself, needless to say his hospitality is excellent and superb. Kasam took us around the camp and served hot beverages complimenting the weather.

The luxury tent that we booked was excellently cleaned and sanitized. Washroom was clean and spacious, with all other amenities like hot water, towel, water bottles, soap and electric kettle already provided. Bed, quilt, pillows were clean and fresh.

The owner and staff is supportive, friendly, courteous and responsive.

Kasam had also planned a camel ride for us during sun-rise. The guy came timely, took us for the camel safari deep inside that desert and was very supportive in explaining various aspects of the desert.​

In the evening, Kasam took us inside the Thar desert for jeep desert safari.​ It was once in a lifetime experience which should not be missed at any cost, made so amazing by Kasam. This guy is the king of the desert!!! He himself drove us and showed the actual Thar Desert, it was amazing.

Kasam Desert Safari deserves a 5 star rating for our amazing...

Kasam Desert Safari is the best safari service in jaisalmer. I went there with my family. It was a wonderful and memorable experience in my life. We enjoyed a lot. KASAM bhai is the king who helped us alot. He has given the best service. We reached at 3 pm. We did deep safari with Kasam bhai. It was heartbreathing experienced. Even my 5yrs child enjoyed it. The camel ride was another amazing experience. Sand dunes were like gold. It is a real desert. We came back at 5.30pm. Then we enjoyed Rajasthani folk cultural programs . It was a highlight of jaisalmer culture. The singers were awesome. Dancers performed various folk dances such as Kalberia dance, matka dance it is also known as pot dance with lots of stunts. Fire show was performed by an artist it was horribly good. I danced alot with them. They are very friendly.

The food was awesome, we enjoyed Rajasthani food.. They have served Chapati, paneer sabji, dal bati churma, kheer, rice, dal, papa's, salad, pickle... Etc

At 7am in the next morning one of his staff named Ravi came and served tea in the morning which was too good as it was cold .morning breakfast was awesome, delicious and tasty. They have served bread and jam, poha, poori sabji, tea... Etc.

Mr. Murad is also a wonderful person, he has given best facilities....our family enjoyed a lot. Even my 5 years child was not ready to leave.

So at last, it was super, amazing and wonderful experience. Kasam Desert Safari rocks.
