Disclaimer:- it's a long review and an honest one so pls read till the end.
I booked 3 Rooms of the property on 7 Aug'25 for I-Day weekend (14-16 Aug) through an agent (initially he told me that he is from mahirosa only) Next day, I informed the agent that we have to cancel one room as one friend got some serious health issues in the family. (Their policy says thay refund is possible if cancellation happens within 6-7 days, which I got to know on 17Aug) so Agent told me that he can make the changes and provide breakfast in compensation of room cancellation, which I denied upfront. So he assured me that we will get the refund as it's a medical emergency plus they still had 7 days to get the room booked for some other person.
We were the only one on day 1 & day 2.
Day 1: 14 August Reached property on 14th Aug evening, 2 Rooms had AC but due to electricity fluctuations none was working so technically NO AC. As per Hemant Patil (Manager) there is always electricity fluctuations in that area yet they mention AC rooms at the time of booking. Idk WHY. Before our check-in, all kind of insects were already in the rooms including multiple Lizards. Iron Net door (for insects) and curtains (for privacy) were broken of Room No 1. (Curtains were fixed later)
Just imagine, you reached after driving for around 750KM and you can't close a window bcs AC was on ( but there was electricity fluctuations) and you can't open a window bcs more insects will be your sleep partners. In addition to that, lizard fell on a friend's face when she was asleep but had mini heart attack. Before that we had dinner which was cold and idk How they can prepare kadhi-pakore in one min. Informed the manager about insects, he said that staff sprayed pesticides and nothing was done.
Day 2:- 15 Aug Had some good time in the pool and went to explore Banswara and cameback to the property in evening and BOOM, we have new friends in the room RODENTS not Mouse and he had our chiller, laptop bag, one more bag and oil bottles in dinner. Damaging stuff around INR 6000/-. Staff did the room service and Ants (LOT OF ANTS) were stills on the bedsheets. There are 3 dogs in the property which definitely ain't for security and they kept barking the whole night on both nights.
Day 3:- 16 Aug We decided to leave the property as we were able to sleep properly forget enjoying. Informed the Maneger and Agent too. Had a very heated argument with Agent about refund.
Had discussion with agent (ketu Mystry ) and Mahirosa staff (Ritu) about refund on 21st August. Today I received only 5500/- as refund which is not even the cost of laptop bags and chiller. After spoiling the whole long weekend and our moods, Mahirosa refunded 5500/-. Just to clarify , Refund amount was around 20k but the owner, who is always out of India, said they can't give my money back.
Hi Mahirosa team, pls share your bank account details I'll transfer the...
Read moreThis is a quintessential farm stay in the district. The farm spreads over 56 acres. The name also justifies the geographical condition of the farm, as it has the mahi river on one side and an endless rose plantation on the other. Amidst these, lies the farm stay having this extraordinary view of the surrounding. The farm stay is at a higher altitude relative to the neighbouring terrain and thus gives a broader view of the serene available. One can also spot a variety of migratory birds that come here in the mahi river during their season. I spotted some grey coloured huge birds, and the moment was memorable, though I am not into birdwatching. If the water flow in the river is not so fast, one can also enjoy snorkeling and have a view of the fishes and the aquatic flora. There have been rumours of crocodiles floating in the water, but my snorkeling dive was safe and I spotted some fishes and a water snake. Upon prior arrangements one can also go for a ride in a rowing boat. The farm stay exhibits an eco friendly, sustainable and recyclable concept with a touch of rural life. We were amazed to live in the mud houses which flaunted very thick walls made up of mud, terracotta roofs with proper air insulation to cope up with the extreme weather conditions of Rajasthan. Between every two mud houses, there is a swimming pool available. The pool design is very impressive as it is very safe for children and serves its purpose as you relax in it. Also the water in the pool is chlorine free, as it has the water of the river. They also change the water regularly. We also had a farm tour, in which we visited a small in-house museum displaying a variety of antiques and relics dating back to the 1950s. The farm is home to a lot of animals including ducks, goats, cows, horses, dogs and roosters. The farm also has a separate gaming arena for tennis, table tennis, carrom and chess. It would be very tedious, if i tell you about the plantation and vegetation grown in the farm, so let's just skip it and discover it on your own. The staff is very polite, humble and particular about the service that they offer. The kids also enjoyed the stay and the hospitality offered. The food given was luscious and vivid, especially with respect to kids. I am gonna miss the hill top dining area and the cool breeze. Special thanks to Mr Parikshit (the owner) for treating us as guests and not as customers. Wishing you good luck and kudos to...
Read moreExtremely Disappointing Experience !!
I recently booked Mahirosa Resort for a day outing for 30 colleagues who had traveled from different states to attend a wedding. I wanted to give them a luxurious experience, but this place turned out to be an absolute disaster.
Firstly, the management was terrible. We arrived around noon, and after an hour of waiting, they started asking us to pay the remaining balance. Fine, we paid it, but then the nightmare began. They kept pestering us to pay the bill before ordering food. Every time we ordered, they threatened to stop services unless we paid upfront – this happened constantly throughout the day. It felt like they were more interested in getting money than providing any actual service.
The food was subpar – definitely not worth the price we paid. The property itself was poorly maintained. The swimming pool was a joke! The water was dirty with moss, ferns, and a thick layer of algae. Not only was it unswimmable, but small insects and neem tree leaves made it look like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. Definitely not the luxurious experience I was hoping for!
There were only 3 people working there – who were both the chef and the waitstaff. They had no clue about managing the property, and when we asked who was in charge, they literally said, "I don’t know."
To top it off, service was non-existent, and the overall vibe was unprofessional and disorganized. The only positive aspect was the location, but that doesn’t make up for everything else.
I would highly advise thinking twice before booking this resort. It's not worth the hassle...
