An Unforgettable Stay: Mahua Monk Udaipur is a Happy Home Away From Home I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at Mahua Monk Udaipur, and I can genuinely say it was one of the most heartwarming and memorable resort experiences my family and I have ever had. If you're looking for a resort that feels less like a hotel and more like a happy home, then this is the place. The atmosphere they have created is truly special—it’s infused with a rare and genuine family feeling. From the moment we arrived until we reluctantly left, we felt completely taken care of, comfortable, and cherished. The credit for this exceptional atmosphere must go, first and foremost, to the heart and soul of the resort: Shri Sachin and Mr. Dharmpal ji. These two gentlemen don't just run a business; they host their guests. Their dedication to ensuring every visitor has a perfect stay is evident in every interaction. They go above and beyond, not just with professional courtesy, but with real, warm, and personal attention. It felt as though we were staying at the home of a close friend! They truly believe in holistic entertainment and the happy home feeling. It wasn't just about the comfortable rooms or the beautiful setting; it was the overall experience: the thoughtful conversations, the personalized service, and the genuine effort to make us feel relaxed and joyful. Every small detail, from the meals to the leisure activities, was handled with an unmistakable touch of care that elevated the entire trip. If you are traveling to Udaipur and want an experience that is more than just a luxurious stay—one that offers warmth, a deep sense of family hospitality, and genuine personal care—do yourself a favor and book your stay at Mahua Monk. You'll leave feeling rested, refreshed, and already planning your return! Highly, highly recommended! Read moreOur stay at the villa was overall decent. The location is peaceful, perfect for a group of friends looking to relax away from the city. The host, Sachin bhai, was very responsive and helpful throughout, which we appreciated.
Before the stay, we were clearly told which items were limited, and breakfast was not mentioned as one of them. Naturally, we assumed it was included as unlimited. However, during billing, we were informed that breakfast was also limited, something that had never been communicated earlier. This created confusion and made it feel like a key detail was either overlooked or withheld, which was disappointing.
Another issue was with the water, the pool water was yellowish when we arrived, and the water in the rooms was also not clean, which made things a little uncomfortable. We understand it’s an outskirts location, but cleaner water is something that should be ensured.
Despite these things, we did enjoy our time and made the most of the stay. With better clarity on inclusions and some improvement in water quality, this could be a much smoother and better experience for...

The weather during my stay was absolutely awesome — cool breezes during the day and light drizzles in the evening made the atmosphere magical. I especially loved sitting on the small hill, sipping tea, and enjoying the gentle rain.
For adventure lovers, this place is a awesome! There are 2 trekking places nearby, Shankarkheda and sunrise point. and the hotel staff was kind enough to guide us with maps and tips for the best trails. After an exciting day outdoors, returning to the cozy room with its warm lighting and soft bed felt just right.
The food was delicious, especially gulab jamun sabji and jodhpuri curry. Chef Pradeep have special magic in hand.
