A Truly Magical Stay at Naila Kothi – A Hidden Gem in Jaipur
Our stay at Naila Kothi was nothing short of unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beautifully restored interiors that seamlessly blend classic Rajasthani architecture with subtle, modern elegance. Every corner of the property feels thoughtfully curated — from antique furnishings and rich textiles to the soft, warm lighting and locally inspired art. It’s not just a hotel; it’s an experience in itself.
Set away from the bustle of central Jaipur, Naila Kothi is nestled in a peaceful, green location, which made it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The lush garden, full of blooming flowers and shaded seating, was a haven of serenity where we often sat with a cup of chai just listening to the birds.
The bed was incredibly comfortable — we slept so well each night, waking up refreshed and ready for more adventures. Every detail, from the soft linens to the cozy pillows, was perfect.
What truly elevated our stay, however, was the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about our comfort. Their hospitality felt sincere and never overbearing.
And the food! Every meal was a delight — fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with love. We especially appreciated the local Rajasthani dishes that gave us a real taste of the region.
But the highlight of our stay — and what makes Naila Kothi truly exceptional — was being invited to join the hosts for Diwali celebrations. We were completely touched by the generosity and warmth with which we were welcomed. From fireworks in the courtyard to sharing traditional sweets and stories, it was an evening we’ll never forget. We didn’t feel like guests — we felt like part of the family, and that feeling of connection and celebration will stay with us forever. It was incredibly special, and we are so, so grateful.
If you are looking for a place that offers not only comfort and beauty but also genuine connection and soul, Naila Kothi is it. We can’t wait to return and relive the magic. Thank you for making our time in Jaipur...
Read moreWe -2 couples and a toddler had visited Jaipur for 3 nights for the Independence Day long weekend last month. Having seen the reviews online and pictures of the property we decided to stay at NAILA kothi. The booking was smooth and they kept checking with us about our arrival, providing detailed instructions for the route since it is in one of the suburbs of Jaipur. The property is nothing short of gorgeous and whoever designed it has done a great job including the interiors. It was a pleasure waking up to the chirping sounds of birds and the gardens were very well maintained. We managed to do yoga in the beautiful little chabutra in the garden which also has Charpoi swings.
But we were dissatisfied with the overall hospitality. The pool had a broken table which was not fixed. Our bathroom in room no 2 had a foul smell. And apart from the new manager Avdesh who was very hospitable, the other staff who did not listen to the manager, and was rude. The first answer to any request for food or any other question from the regular staff would be a NO. The food was tasty but very oily and the cook was extremely moody. Also, the approach to the location is full of extremely bumpy roads and a long drive from the central part of the city. This could be due to the heavy monsoon but it was not pleasant. On our third day, we woke up to a lot of noise at 5:30 am, and realized the property had been let out for a photo shoot to a massive team of about 25 persons. This resulted in utter chaos since right outside our room and in every common space there was paraphernalia of this new group. Our breakfast was massively delayed and we were forced to sit out in the open in the sun and with flies to have our breakfast. In a small boutique property this was unacceptable. There is a lot more potential to the property if it’s run well. We hope this was one off since other guests have had a good time and the management will undertake adequate measures to make vacation’s...
