We booked our stay at the desert camp well in advance and got a great deal, though I can't comment on the current pricing. From Jaisalmer city to the camp, they offer a cab pick-up and drop service, which costs around 2-3k (prices may vary). We chose to hire a cab from the city ourselves. The camp is located amidst many other camps in the area, creating a lively desert vibe. While we were slightly disappointed that the welcome ceremony with dhol was missing, everything else made up for it. The camp's decoration and rooms were well-maintained, the campfire setup was cozy, and the folk song performances added an authentic Rajasthani touch to our evening. The staff were courteous and ensured our experience was memorable. Activities like desert safari and camel rides are also available. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this camp for anyone visiting Jaisalmer. It’s a great way to immerse yourself in the desert's charm!

Thank You Ashiem Bhai for a wonderful hosting. It was a amazing experience of 2 nights. 1st day a warm welcome with Tilak and Dhol. Get some rest and ready for the life time experience of Jeep safari in Thar desert. There the camale ride is also arranged. We took Bile ride extra and it was worth taking. After sunset come back and enjoy Cultural dance with hot tea and pakoda. Followed by Rajasthani dinner. (Don't miss Ker Sangari sagh) 2nd day don't miss the morning sunrise in Thar desert- can be arranged on request. And the Best of Best Night Safari! Ask Ashime bhai for Night safari and he will make all necessary arrangements. Campfire in desert with star gazing and thrill of silence. Overall supportive staff and neat rooms with proper bathrooms. Thanks for such a wonderful memories.

Visited the place in First week of November, mercury still touching 35 degrees. We were sceptical of the surviving the heat of the afternoons inside the tents in the open dessert, but a well thought out water cooler at our disposal saved the day for us. The place was an open paradise for my daughters who spend their mornings and evenings playing in sand and slides. The services offered at the tents were prompt and the staff was courteous. The nights were joyful under stars and Rajasthani folk dance and music. Could be better: 1. Food quality and taste could be better 2. Evening programs are repetitive verbatim. No point in attending second night if you are staying more than one night.

A Wonderful Experience at Queen of Thar

Staying at Queen of Thar was truly a magical experience! Hashem, the owner, is a man of his word and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-notch.

The resort offered a range of unique experiences, including a thrilling desert safari and a serene camel ride through the golden dunes. What stood out the most was the stargazing experience – Hashem’s team took us 15 kilometers deep into the desert, away from all the lights, to witness the breathtaking beauty of the night sky.

The cultural events at the resort were another highlight. The traditional music and dance performances were mesmerizing and added an authentic touch to the stay.

If you’re looking for a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and warm hospitality, Queen of Thar is the place to be. Highly...
