I had my sister's wedding on 22 & 23 April 2024 in Hotel RAMADA (Gegal, Ajmer Road). I was disappointed by the total hospitality and the behavior of staff especially the General Manager, Manish Gupta. When I visited to book the hotel for wedding the GM and staff was very lenient and very polite and they were agreeing all our conditions. Earlier they told that they'll provide all the halls and also provide extra beddings in rooms if required. But when we went there for wedding their behavior was very rude especially that of GM and they weren't providing us the required things that they mentioned on our first visit. (Ex.- When we went for booking they told that there are 2 halls and 1 meeting room for which the GM said that we can use this room on wedding day for makeup artists to do makeup or for any other purpose. But when we asked for that room on wedding day they haven't provided us. They said that we don't give that room.) On 22nd, the rooms were not available on time. We got rooms around 2 p.m., after which also some of the rooms were not cleaned, while the time for check in was 10-11 a.m. as per the hotel's policy. This led to the delay in our function for more then 2 hours and also the lunch got delayed. It is hotel's responsibility to tell previous decorator to remove all his belongings on time and to provide the halls and gardens to next decorator. They haven't provided our event planner the area for décor on the previous day which also led to delay in functions, and also the previous decorator's décor items like stage, pathway canopy, beds in hall, etc, were not removed on our wedding day. When we asked previous decorator to remove his items, he said that he don't have time and labor to remove it. Due to this our event team compromised with the decoration. The GM or someone from hotel informed Sushant City members to delay our event and to create problems for our decorator to not do his work on garden's entrance gate and they threatened our decorator that if he do his work they will remove the decoration forcefully. Also during baraat swagat on wedding day they put the barricades in middle of the road because of which our baraat swagat got ruined. When we asked them to remove those barricades they denied. I would not recommend Hotel RAMADA (Gegal, Ajmer Road) for any kind of...
Read moreDO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE FOR YOUR WEDDING! The manager, Mr. Manish, first of all it's not the first time some guests has complained about your inconsiderate policies and behavior- go check your Google review again for which we also checked with you hoping this won't happen with us - but regardless we faced the same issues someone else mentioned there. Your oh-so-great vendors that were forced on us being on your panel didn't cooperate one bit either with our event(entertainment) team which we booked from outside and neither with our hospitality team. If you are talking about small things such as the store room - if we were paying a hefty sum in lakhs to book your hotel for a wedding that's very usual for any other hotel to provide for same, but if you are boasting about one store room that you offered us, it speaks a lot about you. Your panel decorator - Mr. Amarsingh promised alot of things which were either not delivered or we had to pin point at the very last moment. I have never seen such a bad stage for the couple on sangeet and what he showed us was on cloud 9 but what he did looked like a school boy's craft project. On top of it i have never seen such a bad mandap decor in my life - the picture he showed us and agreed upon didn't match at all. On top of everything his manager Dheeraj switched off his phone on the main wedding day and Mr. Amarsingh didn't pick any of the hundred calls from either us or our hospitality team. So wow, kudos to you if you can mask all these things.
Another vendor from your panel - Mr. Vikas , he didn't setup any sound system at the bride's side functions , nothing happened there , all our efforts of planning went in vain of last 6 months. Lagan and bhaat on the bride side were done just plainly as if nothing was planned there. So congratulations to you on spoiling a bride's big day ! And his SFXs were the biggest flop of them all, providing us with all malfunctioned machines and apparatuses and even for the speakers he used were the worst quality.
And Mr. Manish , the last of all things hope you won't treat or use that malicious language of yours to any of your next guest which you used with my family during that one time of their visit, disregarding our background and whatnot. And even after talking to atleast 5-6 times you made the wedding...
Read moreOur booking was made for the 14-15th July 2024. The hotel gave us no option but said that the decorations will strictly be from their side and made us choose out of 3/4 event managers for proceed work for the wedding.
They all are tied up in some or the commission as they kept asking money for small small necessities like sound (whereas it was mentioned that they will provide it). Even after that we gave them that money but the decorations done by Mr. Amar Singh on the sangeet night was not even close to the decor that we had chosen for that event. He wasn’t even present on the day of the event, one of the worker said that they don’t do that sort of decoration anymore but this should have been informed when we chose the decor.
Mr. Manish Gupta earlier said that the sound, lighting, DJ will be included in another hall booking that we paid for yet the sound department Mr. Vikas asked more thousands above that.
If the hotel was taking charge of decorations, event manager under their guidance, etc, shouldn’t they themselves coordinate and put out a great work rather than making the customer talk to each department separately? Isn’t that what we are paying money for?
They also collect all the money prior to the events so that the inconvenience caused can later not be compensated for.
A parent spend all his life’s earning on his child’s wedding and this is what they do. They only know how to suck money separately from sound, decor,...
