I started from Delhi with my wife, and 2 daughters, one aged 6 years old and one 3 month old, we reached the property after about 7 hours of road travel. We had a problem locating the place as the GPS location stops about 500-600m away from the actual property. It is located at such a remote place, that to find someone who understands your question and replies to it seems like a herculean task, and Network connectivity in this area is pathetic. Nevermind. We reached the property, it gives a very good first impression. the view from the rooms, the courteousness of the staff, cleanliness of the rooms, everything is above average. but due to the long travel and rusty roads, my wife and younger daughter weren’t feeling comfortable. around this property there are only villages that too 500 meters away. it’s in complete wilderness. if you’re not carrying medicines forget that you’ll be able to get them anywhere close to about 100 kms away from there... My wife got a little paranoid that what if we need medical attention for the little kid with us. So around 6pm we decided to cut short our holiday and head back to Delhi the next day. I spoke to Ms. Neha, who was our contact point for the reservation. She said that I was good to go as and when I want. She didn’t mention anything about cancellation charges to be levied on our reservation. Now comes the big shocker, when I’m about to check out in the morning, I'm slapped with a cancellation charge of one extra night that I didn't stay. I decided to speak to the owner, who is there full time and looks after the property himself. when I approached him to request him to waive off these cancellation charges, he said that he was EMBARRASSED to talk to me about it as according to him, the cancellation policy is mentioned in the terms and conditions. I was shocked with such a response, as the same person was talking to some international guests with such politeness just 10 mins before this incident. He was downright rude and unwilling to understand our concern of two small kids needing any medical attention. Would recommend this property only if youre travelling as a couple or going solo. Coz if you have kids with you, there is hardly anything there to keep them busy and the owners attitude to tackle any issue is way below what you expect from a guest house...

I went there a week ago with my wife to get some royal like treatment since it is heritage royal property but after spending Rs.15000 for a day we found being cheated... There are number of reasons why one should not destroy their precious vacation but it is difficult to elaborate all the cons here but major are these: Road- Reaching here is tuffer then reaching to the moon... road from the highway and thn to the village is in drastic condition and road leading to fort is even more worse. You will have to relook for your vehicle suspension. Amenities in the room- They don't have mini bar or refrigerator, LED TV, intercom connection, Dental Kit, Locker for valuables, Curtains in the Washroom or Bathroom. Amenities in Fort- They don't have reception counter, Swimming pool, Spa and Gym, playing court, room dine-in. Services- Worst part of this fort. Staff are not at all professionals... they provide cold food to their Guests and even after complaining for the same they say it is not possible to serve hot food as we dont have utensils like that, there are only 2-3 varities of food in breakfast, lunch and dinner... pet dog is used to roam around and keep peeping in your food and might bite you but no one is there to run away the said dog, they don't have basic things in meal like salad, desert, papad, raita etc and if you are lucky you might get roughly cutted tomato, onion and cucumber after asking. You will find fort Manager dressing like a night gaurd and never available in the office.
Apart from it i encountered with an incident in which i found 1000rs less in my wallet after enquiring i found room service was done in the night by fort staff when we went for dinner. I complained the same to Fort Manager but manager has never returned to me with any explanation or justification. Only pros are boating in lake which you may get easily in any lake for 200-300 bucks and the only staff who was willing to serve and has managed all the fort is Mr. Hetram. So this is my experience in the...
