I booked this hotel online through happy easy go. I have tried this site for the 1st time since their rates for this property were better. There were lot of issues in booking the hotel through this site. Their site was non functional, intermittent breakdowns, coupons not applied, promos not applied, eventually i ended up paying 400..500 inr more than what I should have paid. I took recommendations about the hotel from my friends. Its a Lemon tree hotel & is good. Post booking I wanted to confirm the booking over call with the hotel since they ddnt even send me the booking confirmation from the hotel. I kept trying their numbers for 4..5 days but it just wouldn't connect. Later was informed that there was some technical issue, which is not professional or good from the hotel's point of view. Their main phone line not reachable for multiple days. Nice rooms, nice decor. Night 1 the room was quite spacious & nice in the Superior category. Had to take another night, then the room given in the same category was smaller & not as good. Though the rates were better. So in terms of price, rates were reduced but then the room was smaller too & there was a difference in facilities. Also, i had to really argue with the front office for a better room. There was no water supply in the room. On reaching at night when you are tired, you dont expect to get things sorted 1st. Typically 1.5 hours was wasted in all this. I wanted to freshen up nd when i checked there was no water. Then to call maintenance & have it checked & then there was water clogging. There were no towels kept beforehand. SET channel was not showing nd on calling for the maintenance,he started explaining about the available packages & that SET may not available, while it was available since i had watched it. He never returned to fix the problem. The kettle was old & rusted. TV was an old Philips TV with such bad straining colors. Again had to call maintenance, he changed some settings, which ddnt make much of a difference & said thats the best he can do. The buffet breakfast has limited options & the taste is average. Tea was good. There are no cut fruits, but you can request for it. Juices are canned. Had ordered for veg kebabs. Those were good. The other night ordered for veg grilled sandwiches. Thess were average. The good thing is that they served us after the time was over. You directly deal & negotiate with the hotel for better rates. I am a blogger on instagram as the @the_food_date. We have booked this hotel for 4-5 November, 2022. In total we have booked 23 rooms out of which 6 rooms need to be allotted in each floor based on suites. These guys at reception have messed up everything even after providing them with all the basic details and Id proof for each room. Receptionist/Manager Shailesh was so rude despite being part of the service industry. They have no idea how to speak to a customer and provide customer service. They were not able to provide 10 rooms by 2:30 and rest were given at 3:00 and management was so bad they have given two guest same room keys. Despite being late at their own end they have given option to do lunch from buffet max by 3:00 as a deadline and post which they said they will close the buffet, how do you suppose come to buffet when you check in time is 2:00 and you delayed everything by 3:00 and closing buffet at 3:00, is this a new way of earning money or you are trying to loot the customers. Things went worst when these guys charged for extra water bottles and 1 dental kits which is basic etiquette of any service industry or a hotel. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to have an event at this place or planning to book number of rooms as they charge you so much extra for basic necessity of rooms. Well overall it was a nice experience neat and clean room, good and humble staff, tasty food preparation, bar with happy hour from but a few things that I felt were out of place were the brakfast buffet was something i expected more, no doubt the food was tasty but yes not what i expected. Secondly it is hard to connect to them on there official nmbr on google.. Plz guys u should look into this.. Thirdly the bed... There was something odd i had cramps after sleeping on em', I have 8 inch mattresses of wakefit at my place and they are like so comfortable. I missed them so much😭 and secondly the supirior room in which i stayed had twin mattress for double bed but they always moved from place and there was always a creek between the two🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ i dnt know is it me or the fault of the mattresses.. And the handle lock of washroom was broken.. It would only close from inside, well my fault is i didn't convey this to the reception and lastly there was a small tiny lizard in washroom, see we do co-exist with other species and i dnt mind at all but when it is in ur commode it is scary.. But i dnt blame anyone we in india are habituated of it😜.. Overall that's the experience... P. S. Check for the availability of room towards the mountain side.. The view is...
