Seven Palms Luxury Camp — Hotel in Rajasthan

There is no name board for Seven Palms Desert Camp except the one on main road. There is no telephone / intercom in tent. You have to walk all the way to kitchen (they don't have office / reception area) in sand to find a hotel staff. The rooms are not great. No heater available in chilling cold. Hot water available only between 7 to 9 am which doesn't make sense where checkout is at 12 pm. Service was average. No complimentary water bottle provided until we reminded them twice. Food was ok nothing great.

The actual desert is 2 kms away from tent for which you have to depend on camel / jeep.

The only positive thing is bedding was good.

My original review - December 2019 Response from owner - November 2020 The time line for response from owner (almost after one year) is in line with speed of service we got in Seven Palms Desert Camp.

Yes, it is necessary to put sign board in different locations if you care about your guest's comfort. It is very difficult to walk in sand and move around such a big property when resorts are very adjacent to each other to identify which one is yours.

Owner responded that for the check out at 10 am hot water is provided till 9 am only. I feel this is very rude response and not thinking of comfort of his guests.

Anyways Seven Palms Desert Camp can take our feedback constructively otherwise they are free to treat their guests...

Excellent stay at Seven Palms Desert Camp 😊 !!!!

We Have heard about Seven Palms Desert Camp for years and was so excited to book a trip there! This was our first-time visit to this hotel with my wife and 2years old kid 🧒 . We were on a road trip from Pune to Jaisalmer. From the moment we walked in the entrance to the Seven Palms Desert Camp, we were thoroughly impressed. It lived up to its reputation of being an Awesome hotel/Camp. Absolutely outstanding camp perfectly located.

We were very surprised by their hospitality. Employees are so kind-hearted and approachable for any of the need and always support with a smile and folded hands. staff who go above and beyond to make sure that you have the best time at Seven Palms Desert Cam.

We had the privilege of staying for two nights at your beautiful camp. We enjoyed a lot the hospitality and food.

A true example of excellent hospitality. We will definitely come back again with friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed it and appreciate all the work the resort put into our visit.

We would like to thank Mr. Pankaj Sharma and Neema Sharma for making our stay at your hotel wonderful and memorable. We have made many memories there with family. It was a lifetime experience of Rajasthan.

We heard of Seven farms through a friend. We just went with it since it came recommended. Mr. Pankaj from the first conversation was polite and accommodating. We wanted a night under the stars on the sand dunes and he took care of it all. He personally met us once we got to Jaisalmer, assured us that everything is taken care of.

The safari itself was a beautiful experience. We wanted to sleep on the sand dunes, under the stars away from the crowds and that’s exactly what we got. We had our dinner prepared right there in the middle of the desert by a very talented Man Mr. Ishaq. It was simple food but tasty. We slept on the cots watching the sunset, moon rise and once the moon set the night sky came alive with stars. Mr. Pankaj kindly shared an app that named the planets and stars that we were seeing and we spotted Jupiter!

Overall the experience was thrilling and memorable. I’d have rated 4.5 if I had the option and the only reason for deducting 0.5 is to allow room for improvement. Maybe the mattresses could have cloth covers stitched which can easily be washed after every visit. That ways we get better hygiene and the guests can also relax. It’s just a suggestion. I can think of nothing else that needs to be changed. A bug thumbs up to Mr. Pankaj...
