We stayed at this property during New Year's eve. The property is beautiful and spread out in a huge huge area with display or nature at its best - greenery all around and birds and animals roaming around. Felt as if we are living in a palace (which it actually was). We had booked luxury rooms, but then got ourselves upgraded to suites. Luxury rooms in itself were great enough, but suites gave a full palace like feeling with their huge size, tall ceilings, royal decors and larger than life sized bathrooms. You would get a full royal feel. The terrace in the suites area was also very beautiful, overlooking a lake view. We spent our evenings and night in the terrace area which had an inside as well outside seating provision. Bhairon Ji was at our service for both the nights and provisioned everything that we were looking for - Great service on his part. Property also has a nice clean swimming pool (we did not use) and other facilities like horse riding. One thing we did not like much is the in-house food. Except for new year party , where the food was great, rest all other meals were average or below average. The most disappointing experience was our dinner at their barbeque restaurant where all the dishes (probably more then 10+) were disappointing. The non veg was undercooked. The veg items felt as if they were just wrapped in spices and served, not barbecued at all. Even the brownie was wierd. The only saving grace was daal, roti and vanilla ice cream. Breakfast was okay with decent options available. Overall, a great property, great service. Luxury rooms. Great time out with friends, family including kids. Unfortunately not so great culinary experience (hence reducing 1 star).

This property is an old palace that was mainly used for hosting horse. It has a lot of walking paths. Everywhere you go you will see peacocks and monkeys and lots of birds. The lake was full of water and we could see the aqueducts in action. The service here is top notch and the food is delicious. It is true to Jodhpur taste and is spicy. Of course you can ask it to be toned down or kick it up a notch. The ambiance at Kebab Konner is great for dinner. The rooms are a little dated as this is an older property but everything was in good condition. The air conditioner worked as well. One important tip. If you search in google map for this specific place you will end up in a wrong location. I copied the map link from their website to get to the correct spot.

We stayed at the horse staples room room smells musty but decorated nicely though bathroom needs update and deep cleaning of orangey mildews everywhere. Grounds are decent but hotel restaurant serves minimal variety low quality awful tasting food at dinner & breakfast, expect to wait 20 minutes and still not getting your fried eggs, reminded servers 4 times to get coffee, and don’t count on getting cheap basics like banana or hard boiled egg as they are hidden behind the counter where you need to “beg” for one. The servers and eggs station cook disappears all the time and comes back out without your requests. Highly overrated, come here if you want an ultra low quality hotel experience. Worst hotel of all hotels we stayed in India and other countries.

The location of the property and the property itself are great.Their restaurant staff was very hospitable. These are the only good things about this property. Their remaining staff was pathetic. Around 2am, my daughter woke up crying for milk. I called the reception twice, but no one picked the call. I tried calling them again around 5am with no luck. I went downstairs and called for help, but no one turned up. I went out of the building, but it was all dark (there is no street lighting in the property), so I had to return to my room, because it was risky to go to the reception area, which is almost 500m from the palace building. I had to call them again at 6am and someone picked the call and I placed the order for milk. The area of the property is huge and no one gave us the property tour. We had no clue who and where to reach out, in the situation mentioned above. The lighting in the room was haunting us. We get 4-5 options only in the breakfast buffet which mainly includes parantha, bread butter, idli, dosa and one any random item. They do not have the option for lunch and dinner buffet. I paid INR 65K+ for 2 days to stay in the Maharani suite of this property. When I inquired about the horse cart, I was told that I will have to pay INR 5K+ taxes for the same. I would also like to highlight that they charged INR 3K+taxes for the birthday cake (and some balloons), while Aurika Udaipur did not charge a penny for the birthday cake. It is important to note here that we celebrated my daughter's birthday in this property. It demonstrates the poor customer obsession of the management. Overall experience is not that great. The only saviour was the property. If I pay 50% of what I had paid, I would be satisfied with the kind of services...

Such a disappointment, a beautiful heritage site, beautiful environment, and then amazing lake and amazing rooms. Sadly, I was furious and disappointed throughout this day, because first of all. The location on Google what’s wrong therefore, I had to pay extra for my card to reach the location and figure it out. I think that there was no number that I could reach. When I was doing my booking, I do that through the phone through the website of heritage stays and I did and I was confirmed my booking when I reached my booking wasn’t there and I had to wait until they figured it out. Adding to that on the phone, I was told a price that was not the same. When I reached the hotel, which made me extremely furious for the service I was met with. They still did not give anything in advance, and they increase the price by a huge amount, which I did not know about, and was not told once I reach the nor during my stay. Extremely disappointed I’m so sad that I had to pay a lot of money and be the sad and furious at the end of my stay after seeing such a beautiful place should be kept and well taken off and communication should be...
