Finestays Hidden Abode — Hotel in Sikkim

Our experience at this hotel was excellent! Location is off the main road but easy to find. We booked via MakeMytrip. From the telephone numbers in the booking email.. I got in touch wit Mr Jitendra Kumar who helped us answer questions and plan our travels.. He also helped arrange local sightseeing trips… including permits etc. Throughout our communications.. he was very clear and thorough. We were a family of 8 (4 adults + 4 teenagers). Being used to city life we were a bit skeptical of the stay facilities and transportation but I’m glad we went with this hotel. The rooms are well appointed and tastefully decorated. Heaters were made available for a small fee. The dining experience was very unique.. They prepared the meal items we asked for ready at the exact time we asked for.. so the food was hot when we ate! Very thoughtful. The roof of this hotel is accessible via the staircase and has beautiful hillside views in the day and starry views in the night. A fine place in gangtok to getaway from the crowd. Rooms are well maintained and neat. There is good view of the mountain from the rooms. Extra bed will be provided if required. Good service. Food is served from morning 7.30 am till night 11.30 pm. The Food is tasty and safe. There is ample choice of dishes. Prices are reasonable. If you love to be in a peaceful ambience away from the crowd then Hidden Abode is the right place for you. It is hardly 1km from the MG marg. You can book the sight seeing from here.
