⭐ 1/5 - Terrible Experience, Would Strongly Advise Against Booking
I booked this stay through WhatsApp after finding it on Google. The owner shared pictures of the property, and it looked decent enough, so I paid an advance of ₹1000 out of the total ₹3300.
However, when we reached the place, it was a complete shock. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, there were no basic amenities, and the overall condition was nothing like the photos shared earlier. We decided not to stay and informed the caretaker, but she was extremely rude and refused to let us leave.
Even after we told her that we were fine forfeiting the advance amount, she threatened us and demanded full payment for the stay. The owner, whom we spoke to on WhatsApp, joined the call and insisted on the same. It was completely unfair and illegal. After a long argument, we were finally allowed to leave only after paying an extra ₹500, despite not staying there at all.
It was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had. All the rooms smelled of cigarette smoke. All this happened inspite of no guests in any room. I understand it’s a remote area, but that doesn’t justify such treatment and misrepresentation.
Please avoid this stay, it’s misleading, unhygienic, and the management is highly...
