heem yamb inn — Hotel in Sikkim

We stumbled upon Heem Yamb Inn while traveling to Uttarey through Hee Burmiok, and what a delightful find it was! The charming homestay is run by Heem and her husband, both of whom are teachers at nearby schools. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were at home.

We reached in the afternoon and were greeted with a warm cup of coffee. Later, we enjoyed evening snacks in their spacious living room with our hosts. The evening soon turned into a delightful musical session with the guy playing the guitar and singing. The food was incredibly tasty, giving us a chance to savor the local cuisine of Sikkim. Our kid was so taken with the place that he cried the next day when it was time to leave.

The hospitality at Heem Yamb Inn is exceptional, with wonderful people and a lovely setting. We will surely visit again soon.
