A Hidden Gem of Serenity – Unforgettable Stay at Martam Village Resort I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Martam Village Resort, and it truly exceeded every expectation. Nestled amidst the serene hills of Sikkim, the resort is a perfect blend of natural beauty, traditional charm, and modern comfort. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the incredibly courteous and attentive staff especially Mr. Bhaichung(The Manager). Their hospitality was heartfelt and genuine, always ensuring that every need was met with a smile. Whether it was room service or help with local recommendations, the team went above and beyond without ever being intrusive. The cottages are beautifully designed, blending traditional Sikkimese architecture with modern amenities. Immaculately clean, spacious, and cozy, each room opens up to breathtaking views of the surrounding valley and mountains. Waking up to the sound of birds and the sight of morning mist drifting over the hills was simply magical. The food deserves a special mention – delicious, freshly prepared meals using local ingredients. The staff was also more than happy to accommodate dietary preferences and personalize the menu when requested. What truly sets Martam Village Resort apart, though, is the atmosphere – peaceful, authentic, and deeply rooted in local culture. It’s a place where you can disconnect from the chaos of everyday life and reconnect with nature, culture, and yourself. To the entire team at Martam Village Resort, thank you for making my stay unforgettable. Your warmth and dedication are the soul of this beautiful place. I left with not just memories, but a sense of calm and happiness that will stay with me for a long time. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a genuine, peaceful, and enriching experience in Sikkim. I can’t...
Read moreThis 'resort' should be your last resort incase you don't get any other resorts. The rooms were literally filled with all kinds of insects and bugs you find in this part of the world. Electricity was cut after 8pm and we had a hard time cause of the heat. They will provide you with some cheap standing fans, and charge you 4k per night lol. I have seen 2 star properties with wayyy better amenities and service than this so called 'resort', in reality it is a cheap farm stay with no amenities. The service was another level of pathetic which i had never experienced before. Ordered food will arrive within a few hours, even if you chose to have food delivered, it wouldn't take that long. This property is out here just for the locals who wanna drink beers and do some swimming, staying here was a nightmare. In general, it is very understaffed and the management is non existence. I would even prefer any other homestays than this so called 'resort'. My advice to the management would be to not run this establisment if you can't provide even basic facilities...

Our room had a gorgeous view of the valley, and the entire property is spacious, making it ideal for families and kids to relax and enjoy. There’s plenty of room to explore and unwind without feeling crowded.
A special mention to the new management team – Amit and Srimanta – who are just starting their journey here. Their passion and dedication are already making a positive impact. The staff under their leadership is professional, courteous, and attentive to every detail.
