Lush Green Resort — Hotel in South Andaman Island

Visited Lush green from 26th to 29th Dec 2019 .It was a great experience .Its a huge property which gives you enough space to rejuvenate , from the rooms , huge swimming pool , the Pavilion , to the décor at aqua marine restaurant its a huge plus point from me .The rooms ,bath rooms were very clean and all the décor and accessories were of very good quality. The bowling alley , tt board , all of it helps to have great recreation .Inspite of being far off from Port Blair it is safe and sound and its give a personal space even during night time to roam around inside the property.To add to the beauty of the resort , I must mention the warm and friendly nature of the manager , chef and staff , specially Sabyasachi (manager ) Saptarshi ( the chef) , Kishore ( managing the bar ) , Santanu , Michelle and all others working behind the screens ,The chicken stroganoff , chinese dishes ,aloo paratha , lush green special tikka biriyani , brownie and caramel custard made by Saptarshi deserves special mention. It was an amazing experience right from the food to the staff, service, stay, ambience; everything was impeccable. We were 4 friends celebrating the bachelor party of one of my friends; it was the best decision to choose this resort because we got a huge room with 2 double beds, so all of us could stay together in one room. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodated all our requirements. We did not even have to step out of the property because there are so many recreational activities available at the resort itself - bowling alley, swimming pool, boating, air hockey, and I can just go on. Port Blair has a huge network issue, so in that way also, it really helped to stay here, as they provide wifi. There is a chill bar also inside the resort, apart from the restaurant where you can have a nice evening over drinks with your friends. I stayed at this hotel with my family last month and was shocked to see the poor hygiene in the rooms. Found that toilet flush was not working and the toilet was not cleaned at all. The floor of the rooms were dirty with sand. We asked to change the room but the reception manager was rude enough not to do it and just asked us to vacate the room with lugguage to clean the room.||||After so much argument around hospitality and need of my family to rest after travel, they gave us another room and we slept for a while. The bad experience turned tragic when we woke up suddenly with lot of itching and found that the beds have bedbugs, the ones which suck blood. I clicked picture of it and shown to reception as well.
