I am having a very memorable stay at this star hotel in Port Blair. It's an excellent heritage old school hotel with all the modern amenities and have a direct access to the Corbyn Cove beach. The hotel is well maintained. The main thing that I liked of this hotel is the staff behaviour. I never heard a no from anyone in this hotel. A truely hospitable place to stay without any doubt. The room that I had booked and staying has an excellent view of the corbyn cove beach and the cherry on the cake is that we could watch the sunrise daily sitting right on the bed. The room and the attached balcony is quite spacious and had all modern amenities. Special thanks to Mr. Mrityunjoy Roy for communicating & arranging everything for me from the booking uptill now.. Thanks to Suresh, Sunny, Vinod, Shiva, Kush, Aman, Marumuthu, Vincent, Nicolas & Alok. The food here is awesome and very tasty. The options are good and and they accommodate special requests as well. Special thanks to Krishna, Singh, Raju, Durga, Babul, Shekhar & Vishal for taking care of our meals and requests. One should try their lengcha, Poha & the Fish Masala fry. It's just another level altogether. My room was done neatly everyday when we went out and thanks to Madhu, Mamta, & Laxmi for the same. Many people might have written many negative things about this hotel. That is totally their perspective but I am an avid traveller's and stay in many normal as well as star hotels across India and abroad. However, till date I have not come across such a beautiful old school heritage hotel and the wonderful and most caring staff till date. Thanks for the wonderful memorable stay Team Peerless Port Blair. Keep up the good work you guys are doing. Thank you Mr. Roy for arranging my entire stay from the scratch. Will definitely love to stay again. I recommend to everyone to stay in this hotel to have a...

Peerless Resort offers an inviting and tranquil atmosphere that perfectly complements its beautiful seaside location. The decor exudes elegance with a tropical twist—think rich wooden accents, soft pastel colors, and stylish coastal decor. The dining area features large windows that offer stunning views of the ocean and lush gardens, creating a serene backdrop for a relaxing meal. The soft lighting and ambient music add to the soothing, upscale vibe. The service at Peerless Resort was exceptional from the moment I arrived. The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive, making sure every need was met promptly. Upon checking in, I was greeted warmly and given a comprehensive overview of the resort’s amenities. The restaurant staff were equally impressive, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided excellent recommendations tailored to my preferences. Special shout-out to [Server’s Name], whose attentiveness and warm demeanor greatly enhanced my dining experience.

Despite its luxurious ambiance, Peerless Resort offers great value for money. The quality of the food, the superb service, and the overall experience are worth every penny. Portion sizes were generous, and the use of high-quality ingredients was evident in every dish.

The resort and restaurant were impeccably clean. The dining area, kitchen, and restrooms were well-maintained, and I noticed regular sanitization protocols being followed, which is reassuring.

Peerless Resort excels in providing a holistic luxury experience with its exquisite dining options and exceptional service. Whether you’re staying at the resort or just dining, you can expect a memorable experience. I highly recommend Peerless Resort for its wonderful ambiance, delicious cuisine, and exemplary service. I look forward to...

We had booked a night's stay at this property on the last leg of our journey and were looking forward to a relaxing sojourn. At the very onset, we're faced with an extremely curt and rude gentleman at the reception who was busy shouting at just about anyone and everyone for no apparent reason. Half an hour into check-in, and wondering whether such individuals should be at the front-desk at all, we were asked to vacate the reception area and move to our rooms ("Please do not clutter the reception area") The rooms and general look of the lobby is pretty shabby and barring a few nice touches will remind you more of a youth hostel, rather than a luxury hotel. The doors have long started to rot, the locks are on the verge of falling apart (in-fact the room allotted to us had a malfunctioning lock) typical of the sea-climate and general negligence. In the room, there were no toiletries provided at all (something which is a basic requirement at all hotels), the shower gel dispenser was broken and since it was fixed to the wall, there's no way to use it. The balcony was dirty and had the AC outlet fitted which made it impossible to sit there and enjoy the sunset. The worst part of it was that the property is located way-off from the conveniences like airport, jettys or the market and we had to spend a pretty dime on transport. Being situated by Corbyns Cove beach was also not very helpful. In the end, this is one property which is trying to cash in on it's past heritage but the standard of services provided and overall mismanagement doesn't warrant a 2nd visit especially when the hotel rates are far from competitive and they still insist on charging 18% GST instead of standard 12% on room...

"Nothing more than a substandard Oyo room that you might have booked" Don't get mislead by reviews on Google, the property is huge but as a resort it fails to provide you any comfort at all. Important thing you should know before booking, they have checkout at 8:30 AM You can use this as a transit option while travelling from portblair to havelock or vice-versa Pros: Only pro is you can walk right into the beach and also enjoy a good sunrise from your balcony Cons: 1. Rooms are substandard, problems everywhere right from bathroom flush to TV remote to AC fan not working. They have tried to renovate but at this price range it's nothing less than a fraud 2. Wierd house policies, one of the policy in the handbook quoted - do not roam around in your nightwear in lobby or resturant and be dressed in semi - formals. Bizzare to say the least. Another wierd policy is they have check out at 8:30 AM! 3. Travel accessibility - Absolutely Zero, the place is quite remote and you will struggle to find and Auto or a Taxi immediately. You can take a 500 metre walk on the opposite side of the beach to find Autos during daytime or choose to pay overpriced options at the resort. They usually charge 700+ taxes for ~5km ride 4. Service - I think the biggest letdown is the resort service. We found almost everyone at the resturant from staff to checkin manager rude, one of the staff accidentally spilled water on my spouse while opening the bottle and left without saying sorry. In the business of hospitality you will find them hostile to say the least

The only hotel on the beach at Corbyn’s Cove, Port Blair is the Peerless Resort. This makes it unique in itself. The Resort property is vast and is used by Port Blair residents for private open air parties. The beach is just a few minutes walk and the sea breeze can be felt all over the property. The rooms have been newly renovated and come with an extended balcony where a morning or evening cup of tea can be enjoyed, while watching the not so far sea. The Resort may not be on the likes of modern day hotels and resorts, but its old world charm and un-cramped environment will fascinate its guests. The multi- cuisine dining room has been also renovated and has a good ambience. Kudos to the staff at the Resort. They are friendly, efficient and very helpful. And this is what makes Peerless stand apart from its contemporaries. Look out for the stunning tree at the centre of the lawn. Its branches and leaves cover almost the entire lawn. Enjoy its shade while swinging in the strategically placed swings.
