The owner Mr. Avinash definitely needs some hospitality lessons. Our original plan had been cancelled and we were not turning up for the trip because of my grandmother's ill health. We had let go of the 32k advance we paid to the property for 5 rooms as the cancellation was pretty last minute however on insistence of the owner regarding his loss due to end minute cancellation a few of us managed to go and could occupy only 3 rooms instead of 5 and had very clearly told the owner that don't do a pro-rata adjustment for rooms against the advance since we were not planning to come and are only coming as an obligation to you. He thanked us over the phone and said we will adjust it. When we reached the property and paid 50k as part amount during checkin they started insisting on pro-rata adjustment to which I very clearly told the reception staff to speak to the owner since we had clearly told him about the same. The next day on 31st Dec, the reception staff plus the property manager on multiple occasions during the day came for asking the balance payment while still insisting on not adjusting the entire advance. When we spoke to the owner about this over the phone, his entire tone of talking changed and he said - "You are not doing charity or an obligation by coming to our property, and if that's the case let me get your car also fuelled up since you are doing charity for us by coming to our property" We simply couldn't believe how simply the owner has turned on his words and his tone changed. We were just thinking we were better off had we not obliged him at all and kept our plan cancelled instead. We had only come and occupied 3 rooms to just let him not suffer a huge loss during new years. All this drama for a 10K adjustment while we were paying 77k for occupying 3 rooms. Sadly for us we also lost our grandmother on 31st night and it was the saddest decision of our life to come to the property and oblige Mr. Avinash. May God guide him for the better in future.

As for the property, it is in definite need of some maintenance - our room had no telephone to call the reception, no TV connection, and the shower and hand shower weren't working. We literally had to sit at the edge of the bathtub under the tap to bathe and it was impossible.

Don't book safari from the property as the. Property was pretty much misguiding instead of helping us to get the Safari tickets revised for the people who eventually came. Reception staff as well as the owner and also the manager all were pretty useless in this case and wanted us to spend more money just so that we booked one more safari with them instead of using our original booking. When we went to the ticket counter ourselves only then did we understand that we were being made fool of and it was very easy to get a revised ticket from the counter. We ended up booking our safari directly at the counter by paying approx. 5000/- with the Jeep, guide and ticket price.

The service staff are smiling and helpful for your needs which is the only plus of...

Taking cues from the reviews here I was prepared to handle some bad roads but found them to be just what should be expected from a wildlife destination. Located right next to the core zone of Bandhavgarh NP is this fantastic jungle

resort. A dirt road passing through the jungle leading to this perfect hideaway is how our experience started. No tarmac or shops or houses around to ruin the scenery, we were surrounded by absolute calm of the jungle! Although the place was not tents or thatched roofs (Had it been that way I would have rated it 6 out of 5) but the concrete cottages had tiled roofs and blended well with the surroundings. I was here during summers and the surrounding jungles were not my favourite shade of green but it didn't really need much imagination to picture what would this place feel like during the rains or the winters.

We were booked for a deluxe room by our travel agent but got a complimentry upgrade to a suite which spiced up our experience. Having been to most of the wildlife destinations in India, I understand how difficult it is to run the show in a jungle and do not really look forward to very pompous lodgings or extravagant buffets but indulging in some unexpected priveleges was vantage. For me the ancillaries like cozy spring beds or a large TV or nice bathroom or savoury food was not what I desired but for those who are looking out for these, wildflower will make you very happy.

What I enjoyed most were the evenings spent on the "Machan", where we sat gazing out to the plains and the jungle with a pair of binoculars and a drink. One evening, at around 10, a cacophony of alarm calls indicating the presence of a predator lurking somewhere near in the dark caused a spine-chilling thrill. Although the excitement died down later but spotting a herd of wild hogs, made us happy with contentment.

We made our booking for the safaris beforehand as availability of safaris is very difficult at Bandhavagarh these days, especially for Tala (Premium Zone). We had booked safaris at Zone 2 and 3 as Tala was not available but asked the hotel to arrange the Jeep and guide for us. To our surprise, a safari for tala zone was arranged by the hotel to fulfill our desire for visiting the Vishnu Statue. Kudos.

We really appriciate the scincere hospitality extended by all of you at wildflower. We would...

Awesome experience to stay here with so sincere staff keen to serve you at their best. The resort owner Mr. Avinash Patel is gem of a person with his polite gesture. He managed to arrange Safari and jungle trail for us under his keen guidance. The Manager of the resort, Mr. Anand, is always ready to avail you things and services you demand. As you enter the resort, the warmth and the lovely ambience of the place greet you with open arms. The resort mesmerises you with its greenery all around, and its unique architecture which unfailingly gives you a feel of stay in the jungle. The mud- floor, the fence and railings made of tiny logs of wood, avenue of bamboos and various plants and trees add to the beauty and serenity of the resort.Lovely and comfortable sitting arrangements amidst the greenery and the gardens here tempt you rejoice in the laps of nature. The rooms are excellently maintained, adorned with classy furniture including extremely comfortable bed (with side tables)and cozy sofas, and cabinets to store your stuff during your stay to make you feel at home. The wall-paintings ,art-pieces in the room and the luxurious bathrooms add grandeur to your stay. The staff is very prompt, polite and sincere in their work. The food cooked by the chef here is just out of the world and they can cook any kind of food belonging to any region around the world. You must visit the resort to spend the best times of your life. Hats off to the people out there and millions of stars to the resort !!!

Our stay at The Wildflower Resort was an unforgettable experience that will be cherished for a lifetime. The moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality from the friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and memorable. The resort offers spacious and well-maintained rooms, complete with large washrooms, hot and cold water, and luxurious bathtubs that added to the overall experience. The elegant furnishings and stunning views of the surrounding greenery made our stay even more enjoyable. The resort's restaurant served an array of delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner, all served in a buffet style that catered to our culinary preferences. The beautiful gardens were peaceful and serene, with vibrant flowers and lush greenery creating a tranquil atmosphere. The resort's crystal-clear swimming pool offered ample seating options for soaking up the sun. Our son had a blast at the outdoor gaming area, making new friends while enjoying the fun games. The resort's decor was impeccable, with beautiful artwork and furnishings that reflected the rich cultural heritage of the region. Overall, our stay at Wildflower Resort was exceptional. The resort's meticulous attention to detail and commitment to providing a memorable experience for guests made our stay truly unforgettable. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and tranquil getaway amidst nature.
