Blossom Inn — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

We stayed in Blossom Inn for three nights in Nov 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed it .

Location - it's situated right on the side of the Coonnor Kotagiri main road below a small cliff. On the other side of the road, there is a small valley. You won't be able to notice much tee garden from the property, either from the ground or first floor. But from all sides mountain tops are visible and overall it's very picturesque. All the sightseeing locations are within comfortable distance. So location wise 4/5.

Property - it's really awesome. The rooms are quite spacious. Very nice flooring and wall. Beds were very comfortable, there was a study table, one almirah, hot water kettle - everything was provided. Furnishing, upholstery - everything was top notch. Bathrooms had geysers, nice fittings, as well as shower gels (you won't get it in many places). The ground floor rooms have outside sit out areas - very elegant and stylish. There is also a big dining area for everyone. It also has a dormitory for 5-10 number of people. So property - 5/5.

Food and service - Service of the staff are equally worth mentioning. They were always very prompt and responded nicely for every small requirement. The only improvement factor is the food. The breakfast was really nice. Mostly idli, rava upma (or khara bhath), rice pongal and omelettes are served in the breakfast, occasionally dosa. No issues with breakfast. But there were not many options with lunch and dinner. In veg the options are aloo-matar, paneer and daal. The prices are okay. In non-veg, the chicken dishes were quite expensive, though we wished we didn't order. Chapati and roties were very nice and correctly priced. So more veg options should be added, that's the main point. But the comfort of having homemade and hygiene food in such a location is unmatched, it's so relaxing. So food wise - 3/5.

I visited Blossom Inn in April 2025 and stayed there for 2 nights. I had come from Bangalore, and before booking, I spoke with Mr. Ravikumar sir, the owner of the property. He is a very kind and helpful person who made the booking process smooth and assured me of a good experience.

When I arrived, I was very impressed with the location. Blossom Inn is situated in a beautiful area of Coonoor, surrounded by natural views, misty hills, and a peaceful environment. At the same time, it's not isolated – there are homes, shops, and other stays nearby, so you always feel safe and connected.

I had booked two rooms, and both were very clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The caretaker, Mr. Kingsly, was excellent – always available, polite, and helpful. He guided us with routes, answered our questions, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the stay.

Breakfast was provided, and for lunch and dinner, we ordered separately. The food was delicious and homely.

Overall, I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. There was absolutely nothing negative to say. A big thanks to Mr. Ravikumar sir and Mr. Kingsly for their great hospitality. I highly recommend Blossom Inn Cottage to anyone visiting Coonoor – it's a genuinely nice and safe...
