Some of the pros and cons,
Pro's:
The room that I stayed was neatly maintained Hot water supply was there anytime (you'd require this because of the climate there) TV was there for sometime working.
Con's:
It is somewhat nearabouts to the town but there are so much of better lodges or resorts available, you will have to be patient whilst booking and spend extra bucks for it. The place to reach here (probably in about half or 1 KM near to this place), you will have to go on adventurous ride (while you travel to this place and when you are going back from this hotel to visit outside places). If you have come by car, you will need to have better driving skills to climb the car to the steep ascent. (Because roads that pathway isn't that great - I got to know today that they will be putting a new tar road in 2 days). It will be fine to reach here if they put a new road otherwise, it will be a circus. No complimentary breakfast if you book via agoda, don't go by only cheap price, check whether this complimentary breakfast is there or not and then book for it. No dustbin in the room to dispose any waste (you will have to ask for it not sure you will get it even after you ask for it.) Food is moderate You will have to repeat two or three times by calling the reception guys to get things done because, the person whom you talk with wouldn't pass on the complete message, he will forget to pass on the same message to the room boys properly as a result they won't bring things that you wanted. Wherever, money is involved (like food) they will be listening properly but rest of them is history (where you will have to repeat them again to get things done). No room service on Saturdays (I don't understand the logic...
Read moreA decent stay in Kodaikanal if you want a budget stay. The best part of the hotel is that view is breathtaking!! If your focus is having an amazing view and in budget I would definitely recommend this place. The behaviour of the staff was good too. But there are a few things we were not happy with! The rooms were definitely quite old and dirty. The blankets provided to us was torn and dirty. We had to ask the staff to change it twice! Bathrooms were not clean too. There were power cuts 4/5 times during our 2 day stay there! They had no power backup. So we had to adjust all of that. Another issue is that the hotel is located around 5kms far from the main city. So there were no cabs available and we had to pay around 400 just to reach there from the Kodai bus stand. They have a restaurant in the hotel as there are no restaurants nearby but food is average according to the price. Make sure you carry bottles of mineral water if you do not want to drink the filter water provided by them. They donot provide any mineral water! But if you are ready to adjust all of that as a good budget stay with a breathtaking view it’s a great place to stay...

They are looking to charge your extra and will deny at first. Pros The view is good from the hotel Nearby temple and park is there Restaurant food is manageable and value for money Staff...
