Hotel Ess Pe Inn — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

I had visited this place on August 25 2018 evening ..check-in checkout seems like 2 to 12 ..I got room in an offer price for 890.. I will strongly suggest this place who likes to stay near to Alagappa University.. The room and other amenities are clean and better when considering the charge they are taking ...there is a parking slot in front itself ..if there are 2 kids to stay in the room then that will be little tight but still possible...there is a veg restaurant annalakshmi in the ground floor itself ...It's little costlier but not too much heavy ...I had taken dinner lunch and breakfast from there ...for us two persons it ended up some what 200 to 300 rupees per time meal ...Don't go for black tea or coffee from there ...It's not like even for black tea they are taking 20 rupees but It's not worth paying even 5 rupees for their hot beverages ...so the hotel rooms are not too big or luxurious..but It's good enough to meet 4/5 day stay needs ...don't expect a warm welcome or best room service things from there ...It's economical and convenient enough to meet our staying desires ...ofc the room had AC ,tv ,fan ..but no cupboards..no dressing table nothing like ...so let me summarize...It's good enough to meet our staying needs for the price they...

A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

My wife and me booked this Hotel on August. We had a horrific experience here. Around 10.45pm we were getting knocking on the door and the knocking got more and more and stronger. I asked who it was and no one answered but started getting stronger knocks. It was getting very scary. I called reception and the intercom was down. I called the reception through mobile and asked him come up. He came after a long time and multiple calls the knocking stopped. The receptionist told that it was some of friends who were staying here right before us and all. Some lame excuse asked him how could he let someone get access. I think the hotel people also know about..we both got really scared and planning to move out right now. We scared to go out even and our car is parked outside. Don't know about its safety as well

NOT GOING TO RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE. Espcially for...

I have stayed at Ess Pe Inn during my visits to Karaikudi in September 2016 and last week in February 2017. I like the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Now they have Annalakshmi restaurant in their basement which is very convenient.

What really prompted me to write this review is the hotel staff Mr. Manikandan. He is excellent and the best! By mistake I left my hand bag with my passport, money and other valuables in it at the restaurant around 10 pm and went to a relative's home. Having realized my mistake, I went to the hotel around midnight. Luckily I found Mr. Manikandan still in the restaurant, cleaning the floor. He gave me the bag with everything intact. It appeared that he did not even open the bag. I was moved by his honesty!
