Hotel Kurinji — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

Worst experience on reception itself.

I went with my Mom and Dad on a temple visit to Courtallam from Tiruppur. 7 Hrs of travel and we reached around 4PM.

Hotel Kurinji was the first stop there on the way. The Manager Mr. (I don't want to name) showed us the rooms virtually and hesitated on our request to see the rooms before occupancy. The reason said was Covid, done, partially acceptable. However we resisted as the rooms shown wasn't satisfactory.

My mom wanted to use restroom, as we just reached and found no other hotels nearby. I requested for a restroom and he denied. He also said we can use only if we take a room and pay.

In such natural urgencies, it was not an acceptable response. We left, me and my mom waited near car while my dad left to enquire nearby buildings for restroom. I was walking towards him to join my dad and at this moment the Manager asked me not to park our car in their parking and leave.

This was irritating as my mom was still near our car. I confronted him on this and also about the restroom, he was so carelessly responding to it, stating he won't extend such courtesy.

In all my travels and even in locals, no place has restricted for such nature calls. This was so unacceptable. I asked the Manager to connect me with his higher official or owner and he refused, asked me to send an email instead.

This message is to the owner who had not trained the staffs in...

Having rules is fine, but having strict rules and that too during Covid season where there are no travelers throughout the world and the guy who is so called receptionist behaves very rude, he doesn't even know how to talk to the guests - not sure how the owner is having him. The only reason people might go here is that it's close to the Main Falls and opposite to a restaurant - other than that this hotel is a ZERO REVIEW place.

If you have a car or can use some taxi/cab/auto, better stay somewhere far and enjoy your trip. You can enjoy your trip with good monkeys and feeding...

Very nice stay with fantastic ambience . As markets and restaurants are in walkable distance, good for elders . With intercom, lift, mineral water supply it is a good place to stay Room cleaning and changing bed spreads mostly done on request. Not costly, within limits for the facilities provided.
