This was probably the worst experience we had staying in a resort.
The hospitality was dismal. We had booked 4 rooms. None of them were ready.
We were made to wait for almost an hour to check in.
We weren’t informed of the tariff in prior.
The icing on the cake was that we were accused of stealing the bath towels.
Why on earth would a retired chief civil surgeon whose passport has more than 100 stamps stoop down so low to lifting something as petty as a bath towel? Never recommending it to my inner circle or acquaintances.
The temple matam will be far more hospitable than this fiendishly unwelcoming dingy lame excuse of a resort.
It is surprising how our respected CM sir chooses to stay here of all places.
On a non-judgemental note, the resort has no trees. It was unbearably arid and dry, even during the fall.
The swimming pool has no signages or warning symbols. The edges are flushed with the floor. There is no fence either. The resort is just one step away from a water accident. Those with kids, please skip this resort.
On a second thought, anyone who wants a peaceful relaxing stay, keep far away from Malli.
There isn’t a zero star option in the review, else i would have hit it.

Read moreI went to this place for a friend's marriage. It is far away from the main market of Dharapuram. The room and toilets were clean but there was no soap. So, you have to bring your own soap if you intend to use the toilet. Then already someone was staying in the room. So, they had used the towels provided over there by the time I was there. I called the reception and asked for a towel so that I could take a bath (I was full of sweat from travel). They blatantly said no by giving a reason that all rooms were booked. So, the towels were in those rooms. What kind of hotel doesn't keep extra towels??! After some arguing, I went to take a bath and took a bath without soap (btw there was no soap or hand wash for the toilet also). Then I used the baniyan which I was wearing for wiping out the excess water. In the meanwhile someone came with a towel (1 hour my request). By the time I had already finished taking the bath. There are some services which need improvement, there are some which are bad but you somehow manage and there are some which you absolutely loath, that makes you feel angry. The service provided by this hotel is of...
Read moreThis was hands down the worst resort experience we’ve ever had. The hospitality was shockingly poor. We had booked 4 rooms, and not a single one was ready when we arrived. We were forced to wait for almost an hour to check in. To make things worse, we weren’t informed about the tariff in advance.
The worst part? We were accused of stealing bath towels. Seriously? A retired chief civil surgeon with a passport full of stamps accused of taking towels? Ridiculous.2 rooms with common sit out is not good.No exhaust and hangers in bathroom.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Even the temple matam would be more welcoming than this dreary, poorly managed resort. It’s hard to believe that our CM chooses to stay here.
On top of everything, the resort is barren—no trees, nothing. The place was unbearably hot even in fall. The swimming pool is an accident waiting to happen—no signs, no fences, just a hazard.
If you’re thinking about a peaceful, relaxing getaway, stay far away from this place. If I could give zero stars, I would. You’ve...
