We had a wonderful stay at this resort and we highly recommend this resort for organizations upto 50 people, Family, Couples and friends.
We are 20 people stayed in this resort between 4th and 5 Jan 2020.
The resort is located at Thamarakarai which is almost between Anthiyur and Karnataka border i.e located around 25 kms from Anthiyur and around 28 kms from Karnataka border. You can easily locate it using Google maps and even without the maps. It took more than an hour to reach from Anthiyur as it is a hill with narrow road.
The facility has 6 Deluxe rooms (3 guests occupancy), 2 premium suites (4 guests occupancy) and 2 friend's rooms (10 guests occupancy). We booked 2 Friends rooms and a deluxe room over phone and they surprised us by providing 6 deluxe rooms instead!, They have provided the additional beds as needed. There rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained.
The check-in was breeze and the free wifi connectivity is good. Note there is no other mobile networks available in and around the resort except BSNL.
There is a covered car parking space available for 10 cars and more than 5 can be parked without shade. We went in a mini bus and even there is a space for bus parking.
The housekeeping was good and the room service was excellent. The hotel staffs are very polite and kind enough to serve you quickly. We have ordered lunch and dinner if our own choice at the time of booking and they provided the same. The overall food quality and taste were excellent. However the timing's are not respected and we had our food late. Hope the management will make necessary actions on this regard.
The resort has excellent facilities which we never seen in a mid range resort and they all are maintained in an excellent standard. Swimming pool: 7AM - 7PM, opt for 15-20 people with shower and change rooms. Indoor games: carrom and shuttle court (Note the Shuttle rockets and cocks are not provided by the resort and you need to bring them!!!) Outdoor games: Volley ball court, cricket play area. Kids play area. Campfire facility. Open theatre with dinning facility. Trekking ATV bike Unisex spa AC & NON AC Bar Big conference Hall with projector.
I would have given 5 stars if the food court had been organized the timing's properly. Hope the management will address this...

Moonwalk resort : guess what all the servers there bring food to you doing Michael Jackson's moonwalk! Joking..😊 Well resort is situated at superb hill station, which is termed as Mini Ooty. Altitude 1100Mts above MSL. Cool awesome and lesser known. Just 145 km from Mysore, easy and awesome ride. Road connecting the place is not a State Highway or National Highway, but roads are good. The place name Tamarakkarai ( Tamara : Lotus, Karai: pond/lake, (video uploaded)). Attractions if you come here: Eeratti falls, Maniyachipalam falls(you may need permission from forest dept, otherwise gaurds won't let you to get down from the vehicle and walk upto the falls you have to see the stream and get back, but at some points road reaching it are very steep, would be an amazing ride for bikers) Another attraction from resort is night safari, you can book the gypsy for 3k(may vary), 6 persons can go, we spotted deer, elephant, hare and wild boar they say bear is also common, but a good experience overall, you will get goosebumps at some locations. Stay at resort : we booked deluxe room easily 3 adults can sleep on the bed/cot. Good response to phone calls by boys there for any service to room. They have good recreation setup viz. Swimming pool, indoor games, children play area. We also liked the dog there named Gayle(seemed to be great dane). Disappointment: Since we saw bar facility in catalog we didn't take any drink bottle, on enquiring we were told it may start by next month. It was raining and we had to travel 20km to buy instead we settled for night safari. Spa facility is displayed in catalog, but only on pre- booking minimum 5 to 7 people should be there to take service. Food is good, fried rice was on oily side and we didn't like the taste at all. Chapati, parotta dosa, curries pongal are good. Fish items were not available. Food billing not bundled, restaurant type billing. Remember you should pre book . Inconvenient: they say check out time is 10 am, on request they extended it to 12 but we only checked-in at 4pm and at least 2pm would have been good, but 10am would have been horrible. Overall...

We had a pleasant stay in this Resort recently. Nestled on the hill at Tamaraikarai, a 30 minute drive from Anthiyur town in Erode district, Moonwalk Resort is a nice getaway from the hustle bustle of daily routine. This Resort boasts of a well maintained swimming pool, a good play area for kids (adults can also enjoy playing there!!), an open theatre area, carrom room, a spa, a Conference Room, a good parking area and a spacious ground for ATV bike ride. Complimentary wifi in the Resort premises is another feature.
Food is delicious and served at the Food Court which has a family dining room also. The staff are very courteous and quick at customer service.
There is a dog of Graden Merlin breed roaming around freely in the Resort to dog lovers delight!! She is called Jil, and very friendly with the staff and tourists as well. One can also see some cattle grazing at the grass fields, horses, local cows and oxen while driving through Tamaraikarai village.
