To begin with, the resort is a well spread lush green property and close by to Arasalar river. The property is well spread out depicts the old tradition of Tamilnadu be it the rooms or the amenities. ||But there is a serious call for maintenance. The rooms we got ( 2 rooms) both had dampness smell. Upon request, the staff came and applied room spray which became more stronger than the dampness smell and was uncomfortable. The toilet seat in one of the room was broken and the replaced seat was not alligning properly. The bathroom pipes were old and in one instance the shower switch came off. The STB offered didnt work and upon requesting it looked like the cables were not laid neatly. I had to open all the windows to get rid of the dampness smell which caused mosquitos to come in. The swiming pool also needs attention of cleaning as there were dead insect and leaves in the pool. Overall serious maintenance call is needed. ||||On the positive side, the staffs were very cordial and are willing to help you in all possible ways. The food is really very nice and taste well. ||||One more mention, The resort is a paradise for birding. You get to see a lots of species birds. I had seen ~15 species inside the property, few names include spotted owlet, rufous treepie, paradise flycatcher, jungle and large babbler etc.||||Overall request to management is to find ways to maintain the...

Read moreChange that woman sitting in the front desk. She will take 10 issues.. keep postponing them, till it becomes 100, before you know you will have 1000 complaints !||||She closes all issues by saying, 'I will call you back.. but never does,' Btw we never received the 'complimentary' foot massage.. even after reminding some 7/8 times. The wi-fi issue needed multiple reminders, never got refills for the in-room coffee/tea supplies.. we were handed over a room that had smelly left-overs in the fridge.. fairly long list of service complaints !||||Same treatment for a room change request.. because of the nearby temple blasting loud speakers at 4 am.. ||Thankfully, there was this thin young girl.. Kalaivani, who was knowledgeable, (seems to be the only person, who seems to know what is what in the resort) and sorted the issue for us.||||Restaurant service was good.. Thankfully unaffected by the inefficiencies of the front desk. The menu needs a few 'combo' items.. like chicken with phulka, etc.||||Like the title says.. great place.. lovely village ambience.. If only you up the service.. everything will be great about this quaint...
