Rakshini enterpises — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

We checked in at Rakshini villa in the afternoon. The host Nandini and their daughter welcomed us with a smile and explaining in detail about the facilities available in the villa. They were very kind and hospitable. Their daughter helped us to order for food as we had checked in late after lunch time. The villa is equipped with all facilities, a cosy living room with a kitchen and toilet on the ground and 2 bedrooms with attached toilets on the first floor. One can do simple cooking if needed. I am a plants-person, so while enquiring about certain plants in their garden, Nandini was very kind and gifted me with the ‘Paneer flowering’ plant. We stayed in this Home stay on 10th of August 2021. The Reviews on this about arranging Good Dharshan in Pillayarpatti , Buffet Breakfast , Free Wi-Fi are just a joke . The care Taker has been changed and w/o informing the customer . The regular Care taker gave wrong info about closure of the facility / temples closed . Luckily the new Care taker called and we could reach . But the new Care Taker does not know which Hotel is Good at Karaikudi . She was ignorant of Complimentary Break fast . Their WIFI was not re-charged . Pl if you are staying check all requirements before paying . Also check / compare for the price in different portals . Avoid this place! They cheated on our reservation and left us (including 2 senior citizens aged 80+) high and dry! The host asked me to cancel the booking done thru booking.com citing incorrect tariff quoted inadvertently, and promised to accommodate our family when we reached the "villa" at the same tariff. On the day of check in she stopped responding to my calls and messages! Finally, after waiting endlessly safe responded saying she wouldn't be able to accommodate us citing "unavoidable circumstances" .
