River Valley Resort — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

I have booked two tree top rooms in this resort which cost me around 3700 INR per night per room ......location is nice but rooms are pathetic .....when we reached resort rooms were not clean and lizard stools are there on the bed ...rooms are so suffocating and we are not able to stand there for 10 mins also ...some chemical smell is coming inside the some .....Honey bees are flying inside the room which was very risky.....stairs for room are not in good condition and not maintained properly and dangerous....with every step taken inside the room..feels like structure is shaking....Manager behavior was pathetic....on complaining about honey bees and lizard stool to manager his reply shocked me ....he told me that tree house is meant for nature experience and it is nature ....plz enjoy the nature ....i asked him if in case honey bees will bites us ..his reply was---"It is never happened till date .... currently nobody got beaten by them and we are never faced this problem".....PLZ avoid booking this resort it is worthless and tariff is so high and worthless...... In all this I appreciate the service from MMT.....they took my issue seriously and refunded the fully amount within 48 hrs and booking was cancelled ....luckily we got accommodation in Jungle Inn resort which was too good and awesome...and tariffs was value for money ...we enjoy alot in jungle Inn resorts...Jungle Inn manager was so ...so ....humble and knows how to treat...

Worst experience i had.!

On long weekend i plan to hangout with friends in this resort I book river valley on 1 oct and they corporate in good way.

I started my journey on 30th sep late night from bangalore to coimbatore and i plan to reach there next day before noon because of some other work i get late to reach there location so i call to them and inform that my cheking may be late so please corporate With this

Sudenly he said that you do onething sir you wont reach sir it will get late please cancell the plan and i refund the amount for you please share the g pay number like that he said

Main highlite in that peak time i just check in google map it shown like 4 hrs to reach there in that location again i call and said that i will reach with in 4 hrs but he wont agree he is trying to convince that cancel the room you wont reach because gate will close you wont get the entry like that

The main highlited that google map is showing wrong route that is not correct that is one way you need to take some other way like some story he said and he only cancel the room and refund my full amount

I just stuck in between and i didint get any other room because of sunday all rooms are full

Finally i plan my cancel and plan to travrl back to bangalore

I honestly don’t know how this place is still in business. Rainbow Valley Resort in Masinagudi was one of the worst resort experiences I've ever had — and I’ve traveled extensively.

First off, the cleanliness was a joke. The rooms looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks — dusty floors, stained sheets, and a bathroom that smelled like a public toilet. We even spotted insects crawling in the corners. Hygiene seems to be the last priority here.

The so-called “staff” were shockingly unprofessional. Unresponsive, rude, and completely disinterested in helping with anything. We had to ask multiple times just for drinking water, and it felt like we were asking for a favor every time.

Food? Absolutely terrible. Bland, cold, and overpriced. We ended up skipping meals just to avoid the disappointment. And forget about variety — it felt like they were recycling leftovers.

To make things worse, there was zero mobile network, and they had no Wi-Fi either. They promote the place as a “nature getaway,” but honestly, it felt more like a trap.

No proper maintenance, no value for money, and certainly no hospitality. This resort is a disgrace to the beautiful Masinagudi area. Avoid it at all costs — there are far better places nearby that actually care about...
