Rockgardens holiday resorts — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

The resort might have been good in the past, but it seems to lack proper maintenance now.

We saw insects and leeches inside the room as well as in the washroom.

Electrical sockets were not functioning.

The blankets seemed to be dirty even though they were washed.

As the room is made of similar to terracotta tiles, we felt some sand on the bed due to the tiles deteriorating.

So, I would recommend thoroughly inspecting the room, washroom, cot, bed, and towels before choosing a room. Don’t judge the book by its cover. The outside ambiance and view are superb, but you might not get proper sleep due to the insects and other issues.

At first, I was very displeased. But they arranged watever was needed and tried their best to satisfy our travel needs. Travel assistance including where they bargained for us to get a nice deal for our budget. I posted a single star in the morning but now by 1.56 AM, I came n edited my review just for wat I've experienced in d whole day.

One of the main reasons, is, the manager n the dog. Manager was calm n patience n respectful.. The Dog, her name is Lucy. As soon as we entered in the morning, she welcomed us. The whole day n nyt she was tied. Nyt wen she was released from her chain, she was running around playing with us.. When I whispered her name, at midnight, she searched me, n came n ryt now, she is still outside of my room.

Also the Drivers they've arranged were very polite...

Type of room booked : 1 room for 2 people ; ground floor ; no balcony for a 2 person room , since it's on GF.||This resort is totally awesome @ the price quoted for the rooms . Perfect location . On the main Gudalur highway . Very well maintained place and it's all green inside the resort which gives a feeling that you are in a forest . Nice and welcoming staff , easy check-in and check-out , ample parking space . This resort is a must book at a decent price.||||What could be improved is : Food quality . When coming from Sultan Bathery side it's very common to miss the right turn since the board is visible if you come from the other side...
