Varma Resort — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

Went here with my whole family to celebrate my aunt's 60th birthday. We all had a great experience and enjoyed well. We booked five rooms and one villa.

Rooms: Rooms are very well maintained with A/C. No toiletry kit provided and the water pressure in bathroom is very average. Bubble top water dispenser is placed in front of each room, so no need to worry about drinking water. There is no mosquito problem, but we did find some insects inside the room since it's located in middle of a farm. I suggest to provide a complimentary toiletry kit and install insects net door.

Food: it'll be like eating our home style food. Very good preparation. Biriyani taste was ultimate. Unlimited food. Tea and coffee provided in the morning and evening.

Entertainment: They have a very big outdoor projector screen, adult and kids swimming pool, chinna kutralam (waterfalls), horse riding, PUMP SET (Do not miss this one), and few other outdoor games.

Location: This place is very easy to reach if we go by train (900mts) walking distance but no auto service. If you are going by car or bike take the Thriuvallur - Redhils Hwy (riding on this road is vera level experience)

This is suitable place for bachelors to enjoy ( Cricket Ground,Swimming Pool, Volley Ball and Shuttle net), definitely not suggesting for "Families" ❌️

Rooms have broken windows and bathroom outlets are not closed, hence insects, frogs and worms get into the room 🚫

The resort has good swimming pool and water falls ✅️

Manager handle the problem well and support clients, but mostly delayed support from service team ❌️

Dinner and Breakfast was very average and not worth for the money and lunch was good, ordered food is also bad ❌️

Location is seperated from the town, not easy to get any items from...

Overall a good experience. But had some weak areas that needs to be tweaked. First location seems to be well separated from city which is ok in some scenario but it might be tough sometimes depending on your preparation. Rooms require maintenance like ac(not working effectively), bed needs to cleaned as it had lot of bed bugs. Now coming to food again only morning breakfast was okiesh rest was not good.
