Lush Garden Resort — Hotel in Tiruporur

I booked a room on 5th June via booking.com app for a night day. After booking I tried to contact the hotelier via the number provided in email to confirm the booking. But no response.

So I reached the resort in the hope that my booking is still valid as I paid an advance amount of Rs.500. Upon arrival

*No sign boards Or atleast visible sign boards to direct us to Front desk/reception *Security guard didn't have a clue about front desk office *After wandering the property in scorching heat for about 20mins, I found an person who manages booking. *In the meanwhile, I tried reaching the number few times again and after multiple attempts I reached a person by the name Senthil (as mentioned Truecaller). He was totally unprofessional and non courteous in every sense. He abruptly said that I should have called prior to arrival which I tried to explain him but in vain. *He asked for how much the booking was done. As soon as I said it's for 1k for night, he quickly came up with the response, "Rooms are all filled". *I realized may be booking.com has given a low price for the room which made him unsatisfactory. So I enquired about the usual price, as we were at the property anyway and too tired to search for another one after an exhausting journey. *Senthil simply said that he will check and disconnected the call. *When I spoke to another person on premise, face to face, he mentioned that they have closed their tie up with Oyo and other aggregators. *I am wondering how come the property is still listed in those portals - Oyo & booking.com till date if they have took any action.

Bottom line is the 1 star rating is for the pathetic hospitality. Because being a seasoned traveller, I know overbooking happens. I am not whining about the unavailability of rooms, it's about how the same message was conveyed to me..!!

If this is to continue, I am sure you will loose...

I was been here last weekend with my family and friends. This is my first experience resort and this is the veryyyyyyyyyy worssttttttt experience too. I have enquired everything 2 days before the check in. They told all the things like they have a restaurant in the resort and near by also lots of restaurant and so on. But the resort is very far away from the main road. Nothing can be accessible even for Coffee and Tea, We took our car and travelled near kovalam dharga. They don't have any restaurants in the resort. Entire resort was very uncleaned and dirty. Lizards, Red ants, big black ants, dragon fly and grasshoppers everywhere even in swimming pool.We spend nearly more than 24 hours there, No one came to clean our villa like house keeping service. We cleaned the entire villa twice. In All the washrooms they have a very transparent windows anyone can see the washroom from outside and in some washrooms locks were not there. They dint even kept proper Water dispenser in the villa. We have spent more than Rs. 10,000 but not worth single penny. They will not give any activity or sports kits for us. Their main motive is at the time of check in they will collect 100% payment after that they wont care about anything. Especially, two of them in reception is USELESS. I don't have enough time to write more. I conclude that request you people please don't go to this resort...

Had a nice family get-together in the Villa. Pretty good place for groups of 10-15. The staff were friendly and nice.

Pros: Nice big Villa. Good outside space for walking and cricket. Nice garden and spacious balcony. Great swimming pool.

Could improve: Additional blankets and shelves could be cleaner. AC in one of the rooms was not great. Cleaning the dining table was difficult after eating because there were no cleaning supplies. Adding a Wi-Fi and microwave would make the experience a lot better. Billards was not available. Please move the empty reception desk away from the hall / property

Important: Kettle: add a better kettle please. When the kettle is on and hot, switching off the kettle is difficult because the plastic is very hot. Also, Add a separate slab or table to place the kettle because we could only find power sockets that were near the floor. The kettle spills boiling hot water on the floor and we know that hot water, floor and power socket is not a good combination. Please fix it by adding a good metal...
