I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Polo lake resort Neermahal, and my overall experience was quite satisfactory. The hotel undeniably shines in two significant areas: its hosting services and prompt resolution of issues. However, it falls short in maintaining consistent quality across all aspects of the stay.
First and foremost, the hosting services at Polo lake resort Neermahal are top-notch. The staff members were friendly, courteous, and always ready to assist. From check-in to check-out, I felt welcomed and valued as a guest. The hospitality team was quick to respond to inquiries, which made the stay even more comfortable. They deserve praise for their warm demeanor and dedication to ensuring guests have a pleasant experience.
Furthermore, the hotel's responsiveness to issues is truly impressive. I encountered a minor problem with the air conditioning in my room, and upon reporting it to the front desk, they promptly fixed the issue. The problem was resolved efficiently, which I appreciated as it allowed me to get back to enjoying my stay without unnecessary delays.
However, where Polo lake resort Neermahal does have room for improvement is in maintaining consistent quality throughout the hotel. While the common areas and some parts of the hotel were well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing, I noticed some aspects of my room that seemed worn and in need of attention. For instance, the furnishings appeared dated and showed signs of wear and tear. Additionally, the bathroom amenities were not always fully stocked, which was a bit disappointing.
In conclusion, the Polo lake resort Neermahal offers commendable hosting services and demonstrates swift issue resolution, which significantly contributes to a positive guest experience. However, With some improvements, the Polo lake resort Neermahal has the potential to become an outstanding destination for both leisure and...

Polo Lake Resort, Neermahal, Tripura

After the wonderful boat ride on the Gomati River to see the 600 year old rock carvings, it was time to proceed to the next destination, Neermahal the Lake Palace on the Rudrasagar Lake. We reached the entrance of the Lake at 3:30pm & turned to the right to Polo Lake Resort.
I was feeling hungry as I had had breakfast at 8am & have been travelling since then. Polo Lake Resort is one of the properties of Hotel Polo Towers in Shillong. We entered the resort & asked for the restaurant & were taken to a dimly lit room with no proper ventilation in the corner most part of the resort. We found a table to sit & asked for the menu. This place has definitely seen better days.
We asked if Pabda Fish was available. It wasn't on the menu but the gentleman did assure that it will be made available. So with it we ordered plain rice, mix veg & curd. Papad was served as a complimentary. 15 mins later the food arrived.
The Pabda had 3 pieces of fish cooked in a light gravy. The gravy was not overly spiced. It was okay. The rice was of good quality & enough to be shared between two. The mix veg had a lot of vegetables but the number of paneer cubes could be counted. The plain curd helped ease out whatever tummy issues I've had in the last couple of days.
The place has a lot of potential as it's located right opposite to the Neermahal Lake Palace. The service though was still good. The gentleman waiting our table was very helpful, courteous & polite.
Hope to see this place reach its potential in the...
Read moreThe rooms were spacious and clean. The manager and other hotel staffs were very well behaved and polite, especially Mr Sudhanshu Baidhyakar (room service) who helped us in making our stay comfortable. But few things need to be corrected if we compare it with other hotels or resorts of this Company (The Polo Group) - (1)The furniture of the hotel .....which is quite old ....needs replacement. (2)Some bathrooms doesn't have handwash and body wash as standard as we all get in other polo group of hotels and resorts. No tooth brush or paste as we all get in other resorts of this group. (3) Needs variety in food menu as there are very few options to eat in their menu. (4) No buffet system in their complementary breakfast🍳☕🍞. They only provide either Puri sabji with omlette Or bread butter and tea. No fruits or fruit juices as we all get in other polo group of hotels. (5) Too much load shedding in the night as well as in the day time, a resort of such a prestigious group needs an uninterrupted power supply, though they have generators who provide electricity in the time of load shedding but the AC or FANS of few rooms doesn't run with the amount of electricity generated by the generator. So a little bit of disappointment with this issue.
Though the resort is in its teen phase and will take time to get it's full shape (as explained by the hotel staff) but the stay was comfortable all thanks to the hotel staffs and manager of the resort. Hope to see a full fledged Polo resort with a serene view of neermahal in tripura, will be a great place to hang out with friends and family. Hope to visit soon again.... 😇...
