Hotel Greenland Cottages — Hotel in Umari Pr. Akola (CT)

Greenland was once a landmark hotel of Akola when there were not much hotels. As others came up, Greenland nosedived. The hotel has always been known for its restaurant and bar plus the great ambience. The "cottages" have never made a mark.||There are two restaurants on the higher floors and the erstwhile garden restaurant on ground has made way for a few tables and chairs providing a look of a restaurant. There is a small play zone for children which may allure the latter.||Nowadays, the quality of restaurant has worsened. Both veg and non veg available but not so tasty. Bar is reputed to be good with nice ambience. Moreover, cost is on the high side. Service is quite ok. Families may enjoy an outing.||Located near Ramlatha, where private buses ply from, location is an advantage. Otherwise, nothing...

I stayed at Greenland Cottages, Akola during the last week of April 2025 for a couple of days n the experience was absolutely superb. The double room I stayed in was fantastic: clean, spacious n comfortable, making it a perfect place to unwind... The staff were quite cordial and very attentive, which added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere... 💜

One of the best aspects was the thoughtful setup, that they have a separate restaurant and a separate bar, making it both family-friendly and stag-friendly. Whether you are traveling with family or friends, it’s a great choice... 🥂

It was really amazing to share 5 days with the green land cottage management specially the owner of this beautiful and huge hotel Mr maadhur Bhai Alimchandani. This hotel has its own beauty,it is constructed with the old mindset of cottages,attached with the 4 floor hotel building. A fantastic place in between for open sitting dine with the bar attached named Alco. Staffs are very supportive and quick in their service's,we even had our program of jewellers meet with 100 people's from Akola in their HEART MEETING HALL which is a big A/c hall a part of green land cottage for engagements, get-together,marriages, birthday party's etc with extra...
