Green Park Hotel & Restaurant — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

I am torn in deciding how to give this property an overall rating. One big caveat is that we were there during the very severe pollution that was all over India in October, so I cannot honestly say whether the views are good or not. I was very impressed with the people running the property and with all of the interactions with them. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The attached restaurant is all-veg and was very good and was an excellent value. There are two pools that looked very nice (although we were there out of season) and the eponymous small, beautifully maintained, park.||The rooms are a good size. I do not want to sound too critical, as I think the owners are making an effort to fix it up and it is clear that they are making good progress, but the bathroom still communicated with the outside through the fan port and this led to lots of bugs coming in. However, if the excellent renovation of the celebration room attached to the restaurant is an indication of where they are headed, I have no doubt that the rooms will be well done. In addition, I think it is important to note that they have installed a generator so that the frequent power outages in this part of India has minimal effect on their guests.
